Lookin good.
Are you going to add a coolant filter in parallel?
I see everyone doing it to the trucks, but never on the goats?
Just wondering.
Do you have a personnel heater in the cab? The heater lines are what it usually goes in parallel with.
Shoot!
I didn't even know we had an Otter thread.
I remember seeing a couple of them for sale in the PDX area.
Thanks for posting all of the info and pix.
Seems like a nice addition to a land/water fleet.
A duck, a goat and an otter :)
You could make some wheel chock like platforms to raise the center wheels when parked. That would put enough pitch on the bed to let the water roll out if the tailgate was cracked. I also thought about putting in a trailer drain plug from a M416, or the aluminum equivalent. Just have to...
Hopefully the ol' goat's new owner is a member of the site? AZ has perfect terrain for a goat to romp around in. Thanx for your help along the way AMGeneral.
Thanks for the update. Rick Shaws Auto.
So what do 10 of them cost before shipping?
Did the vendor give you any hint, on material, color, w or w/o end curtains and such, for what they were selling?
Then if we found a centrally located MV parts dealer that would be the middleman (with a markup...
Check at the train yards.
Most have public docks to load trains for the ag folks. That was what I was going to use for my pickup when I picked up my 5Ton. But long bed extended cab equals rear wheels on the tailgate.
Doesn't look so bad with LEDs in front.
Why worry about period correctness Mike?
Didn't you put IR spots on the front bumper.
I don't think that was period.:recovry4x4:
It is all about the KOOL factor.
Whatever unit had the goat would put on whatever replacement part was the "all the...
Here are some of the progression pictures on my M813A1.
You may remember the story of her recovery. 5 Ton Woe's or So-what-is-more-fun-recovering-a-5-ton-or-two-2-5-tons?
I "won" her on GL from Ft. Hill.
When the shipper fell through multiple times I had her towed off base to Ogden...
More measurements
Would someone want to post up some more measurements?
This time on the racks on the cargo section.
Are the two horizontals the same length?
From a 5T troop seat section it looks as though the uprights/stakes are 2.75"x1".
Thanks.
Tony
I would guess Left Hand from the attached note in the 3-53 parts catalog. But I don't know for sure.
Or based on the firing order 1-2-3 = LH, 1-3-2 = RH
Then again, the manual says the engine model number is 5033-6299 which if you follow the info below makes it a RH crank engine.
If the...
Congrats on your first post.
I do not know the answer to your question, but this may help.
Sorry it is so small, I will try to fix that.
Click on it to make it bigger.
I guess I need to compose my sentences better.
I meant to say that my shelter was empty when I bought it and that I was going the other direction by putting original MV stuff back in.
So sorry no stripped out parts.
And after reading the magazine, either frame it and put it up on the wall, or...
Subscribed.
I am going the other way with a fully stripped S250/g in the back of my goat.
I have been looking at shelter pictures to see how & what things are mounted in them.
A little more room than your other MV M116 trailer you have in the pole barn/garage.
