Tire age and cracks - Still safe or replace?

Do you crawl around mostly below 35mph? Or do you habitually drive at highway speeds? The answer to the above would heavily influence my decision as to whether to replace.

Congrats to them, not to me. I just attended and loaned the truck..... :) (A marriage is the only absolute prerequisite for a horrible divorce...)

2" kingpin. 24v lights. Tires look good. Anybody nearby got a M931 or M818? A buddy won this and it needs to be delivered to my place in KS. Obviously I don't expect free. Timeline next couple of weeks.

New Potential Owners - Generator Model Numbers ARE Important!

I'm guessing it's a reset machine and the data plate f/u happened at reset and the machine wasn't issued.

New Potential Owners - Generator Model Numbers ARE Important!

Picture 8 shows a 400hz data plate. Picture 25 shows a 60hz generator head. Presuming the pics are of the same machine, the wrong data plate was stuck on it. That's my best guess as to what it is. Unfortunately you won't really know what you have until you go get it.

Suspension Seat for 5 ton M939A2 - Low cost skidsteer seating?

I have 2 complete GSS air ride seats. Delivery available to the St Louis area if I get them loaded by Wednesday. I also have a high back HMMWV seat that would easily adapt to fit in a 939series truck if you can fab brackets.

    Light weapons station need info

@Valence had some reinforcement kits if I remember correctly. The added weight and inertia really almost necessitates the reinforcement. But by all means grab the LWS while you can and piece together the cab reinforcements later, or fab them from scratch. My M925 has the cab reinforcement...

Govplannet m1123 Barstow rebuild SF97 question

I've seen GP put the date from the data plate on titling documents, even when it's obvious that was a rebuild date. I have even seen GP put the manufacture date of the engine on titling documents when the data plate was blank. Even when it was completely implausible. (Example- 1984 M923 had a...

Safety chains when pintle towing with a M931 tractor

Unhook the shackles, the hooks will then fit from the end of the shackle. Reattach.

This is my experience running dual G177s on a 5ton as well.

    Super Single Wheels

My search using that part number turns up an LMTV rim which will fit on your M929.

    Tire options for m923

In your position, I'd go with 395's. Cheapest of the super singles and likely to enjoy continued availability.

I will have to tow 1031A - Anyone tried (what do you think) a tow dolly?

Dropping the driveshafts is not a big deal and removes all kinds of potential badness.
