Yeah, and your wallet doesn't empty out as fast either!
I was spoiled for a while, I was using a LARGE compressor to power my pump, but I no longer have that luxury.
I have ran mostly straight WMO (hard to tell exactly, it had some gear oil, transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, motor oil, and some OLD race gas).
I like to keep a 5 gallon can on each deuce full of WMO so if I need to fill up with regular gas at any point, I can dump the oil in there and get...
Aaron, you don't have any of the bivi covers for those sleeping bags do you?
I have a number of the bags (black and green combos), but I don't have any bivi covers for them yet.
Looks like I will be making it to this one, but I will most likely be driving my M1009. I would hate to have to load...
Honestly, I have been tempted to take the spare tire off, and put the exhaust stack back there. I LIKE the view from the cab with the stock tire, and think that a 1600 would block all usable view (besides stick out a ways).
Thought about running the spare tire on the trailer. Easier that way...
Also check to make sure the electric solenoid is even working! It should click when you turn the ignition on.
Easy way to check, and something you should try anyways, screw the knob in on the cutoff solenoid.
Guess that means you will NOT be standing on the front bumper to open/close the hood or do anything to the engine...
Otherwise, that looks kinda cool. Almost fits right!
I imagine he has a LOT I WANT, it is more about what I can afford right now. I am still in the process of moving, and these MV's add up when moving them all this far.
Jesse, glad you have been enjoying that beast. It sure will be a nice setup with that LDS in there!
Looks like I might make it to this mini rally!
I am at exit 71, so I am up for the convoy up there. And if Brad has a spare trans for my 5 ton, I could use another one.
I need to get another fuel...
The Tonka truck thing would be pretty funny.
I have seen commercial trucks on the road that do that once in a while. Always worth a second look and a laugh.
It is a fairly tall flat bed trailer, and I don't have loading ramps for getting a vehicle up on it from the side of the road (or any ramps for this trailer as of yet).
So road side recovery would be nice, but unless I get some ramps, and a heavy winch (I have a spare hmmwv electric winch...
As of right now, I am IN!
Not sure one which vehicles I would bring.
Most likely my wife will drive her M35A2
I will most likely drive the XM818. If the route includes room, I could bring the 35' flat bed trailer as well.
Anyone have something Military we want to carry on the trailer? Trailer is...
Mine was leaking, pulled it apart to clean it, and I literally only wiped some small amounts of oily stuff out, and it works perfectly now.
It is the same part as the deuce btw, so getting another one is just a deuce part if you don't just plug the hole first.
I pull the SMALL vent line out of the short piece of rubber hose that comes off the top of the tank. I take a simple air nozzle and push it against the rubber hose and apply pressure.
Setting your pressure to about 5 psi is plenty for this kind of testing btw. I don't do this, but it is a safer...
CPL is 26, or 0026 or something like that.
Just add 00 before your number and try that way.
Seems that most things for our older style motors has to be looked up in the books anyways.
Something tells me I DON'T want to show up!
Last time I was around some of your guys I spent half the time wrenching, and it wasn't a Wrench O Thon! I have enough WOTs on my own....
