    Lift Block Dimensions

If you put the U bolts on with the nuts facing down, you can just reuse the bottom plate from the deuce axle. It will locate the U bolts, and fits the axle well. Or just get the bottom plate from the deuce front axle, so you have mounts for the shocks.

2 1/2" wide, to match the springs. 3 1/2" long to match the axle. U bolts, someone local should be able to make them up for you.

    Minor 5 Ton Build

Looking good! Btw, the 105 bed is a nice length for the frame length if you want to keep the tool box and spare tire. And with the HEMTT rims, the tires line up almost perfectly front to rear. Btw, I just put over 1,100 miles on my setup, I LOVE them! Finding the right pressure for your speeds...

    Brake lights stuck on…

On the 818, the trailer DOES turn the brake lights on. Question, if there is ZERO air in the tanks, are the brake lights still on?

    Brake lights stuck on…

Dumb question, I know, but does the M52 have a trolly brake, and is it engaged?

No, left the trailer there, and just flat towed the M1009 with a towbar behind the 818. Worked well, towed well, and no issues with it at all. Well, except that I figured out that the M1009 now needs a new rear Ujoint. Caps fell off, found one needle bearing that was broke in half. Glad that...

Just got home a little bit ago. 10.5 hours to get home! Here are a few pictures of the hub incident. You can really see how close this tire/hub was to coming off, and it was just sitting still! Sure glad the deuce made a safe stop, and far enough off to be safely worked on. I have more...

    Keeping the original tires

I know you want the original NDT type tire, but have you thought about an industrial/ag tire? They are somewhat similar in size and tread. 15.5/70-20 and 17.5/65-20 are two sizes that are pretty close, and are made for the flotation and weight you are thinking about.

My deuce will NOT be coming. Pulled it into the shop yesterday, and there was leaks in three of the 4 rear drums. Seals went, and they washed out the bearings (at least in the hub that I pulled). Gear oil and grease all over the brakes, etc. But the wheel cylinder was fine, go figure (what I...

Finally have a full set of BIG tires!

Few pictures, and showing how close the rear tires are. My wife didn't think they were going to fit! I was confident they would after seeing every one else's fit just fine.

Finally have a full set of BIG tires!

That is my goal. Lots of little things to work out, especially seeing as I just picked this sucker up a couple weeks ago! It DOES have a 10 ton mirror on the driver's side! (or bridge truck mirror, whatever)
