I purchased 6 US made ones from Truck Pro several years ago for $28.50 ea.
I also got a set for a V8 300 in a 10 ton for about $50 ea last year,same place.
Their phone # is 1-800-274-1256,that's the Charlotte NC location, ask for Daryl in the injection pump shop.
UNLESS possibly you have a World War 2 GMC "Jimmy" deuce with a 270 gasser inline 6 and a 5 speed, then it could possibly be positive ground, but it would also be 6 volt( 1 battery).
That would be the only situation I know of where a deuce would be positive ground.
Ron,
The spring perch I sent you was cracked? or the other side was cracked?
If you need the other side spring perch,I think I still have it.....somewhere around here.

Hi folks,I am in need of some one to preview an item for me if possible,Please PM me for details if you can,I need the item in question inspected before March 16th.
Thanks in advance.
I use Fleetguard on mine, the numbers are as follows,
Primary oil LF 670
Bypass oil LF 777
fuel FS 1000 or FS1212
trans HF 6243 or HF 6318
I think the water filter is a WF 2071.
I don't believe there is a fleetguard cross for the internal trans filter.
Mine idles about 550 to 600 cold, and about 700 warm,it has that Cummins"lope" cold but it smooths out when warm.
As far as the low power condition, after you change the fuel filters and are certain it is getting plenty of fuel flow to the injectors, and the injectors, valves, and Jakes are...
I wouldn't mind the weight,as long as it isn't overwidth, the 172A1 weighs 16,500 lbs empty, but I doubt that is what you would want,at about 10 feet wide permits are required anytime you want to move it.
"We've been hit twice by scrap thieves. The big problem is the stuff they take and get $50 for cost us $1,000 to replace. The local police have been no help."
It's the same here M16,several months ago,I had 4 radiators get gone from here, 2 were fairly common, but the other 2 were for a...
Are you serious about getting rid of the drop deck? If so how much?
I'm looking for something non overwidth to put behind the 915A1,I already have a M172A1 25 ton,but the ramps and 115 inch wide deck are a problem when you want to go out of state on a regular basis.
I fear that we may see lots more of this in the coming months, with the rising cost of fuel and the rising price of scrap steel, and a prediction of rising inflation as well.
I have people stopping by every week asking if I want to get rid of all that "junk" back there.
With approx 189,000...
