So back to the earlier question, what are you trying to power up with this? and is it a prime source or backup?
There are much better options available if you don't need 60Kw of single phase power.
Or if you do need it, how will it be utilized? You may be able to load each of the 3 legs to...
Most folks that have discussed stall mats here have used the 3/4" from what I have read.
However that is probably because they mainly use the ones from Tractor Supply which are normally 3/4"
Either thickness would surely be sufficient when you calculate the Square Inches in contact with the mat...
Correct, you can get single phase easily, but would need to do some creative wiring to try to get even close to 60Kw out of it! You don't want to run that gen for long periods of time with very little load and you don't want to grossly imbalance one leg with all your load and nothing on the...
Yes, a somewhat common problem. There's several threads discussing this on this forum.
Usually comes down to either the lower float of the dual float switch in the tank or an issue with the float module mounted inside the tank area on the right, small metal box bolted to the right side.
Check...
Correct, 804 and up should be a 10 wire.... or that's what we've all been told for years.
The 004 005 and 006 can be reconfigured to run single phase at full rated output, but the 804 and up can not due to the last 2 wires being connected internally somewhere...
If I recall correctly, a member...
Nice, thanks Guy. Looks interesting. I have had a couple 803's with Arctic heaters installed but they were a different model heater.
Maybe the " Canadianized" machines sourced a different model. I'll check the TM to satisfy my curiosity.
Jeep Nasty got it! Chad called me yesterday and I have saved his # in my phone this time! I was wrong on the state, he's from CT. not MA.
Thanks a bunch Sir!
Depending on what type of machine or what filter conversion plate you are using will somewhat determine what filter you can use.
Both the 802/803 as well as the spin on conversions for the 002a / 003a all use 3/4 -16 threads.
Most of the spin on conversion plates are wide enough to accomodate...
FYI, if you ever need another pump there are several others available in the $30 range that will work perfectly in your machine in a single pump setup. ( not sure if they are flow through or not )
Another tip is that if you are running the original 2 pump redundant system, unplug one pump...
Good Job! looks like you've made her a winner. Out of curiosity What is the "Heater" that's in your machine? I see the switch on the front panel.
Is it a version of the diesel powered Arctic heater kit or some other type?
Correct, that is the Supplement I found that you put in the TM section, but it doesn't go very deep into repairing the Yanmar L70.
I ended up buying an injector for $35 today to try. Might be faster than trying to locate the right line to adapt my pop tester rig.
I have a feeling there is a...
Hello guys, looking for a little info on the Yanmar L70 in an MEP-016D.
I have a customer with 2 of them, both around 150 hours.
He lives off-grid and these are his sole power source. One of them cooked it's regulator so last week I did an sx460 replacement along with some other upgrades.
This...
Thought I would try posting here... I'm trying to get in touch with a guy named Chad from MA. He owns an M35A2 I believe, as well as 2 MEP-701's ( currently in my shop )
So I was hoping maybe he checks this forum occasionally.
I was repairing his generators for him and unfortunately I have...
Is the oil leaking from where the lid meets the canister body? Did you replace the gasket and does it seem like it stayed in place properly?
Sometimes the gasket will move out of place before you get the lid in place. I've seen people use a little gasket sealer to glue the gasket in place before...
