Just buy a winch truck. You can add one, but they are expensive and somewhat labor intensive to install. A complete winch kit will cost $800- $1500, so if you find a $4000 truck and then add a winch kit you might end up with $5500 in the truck. You can probably find a winch truck for that, then...

The LD and LDT pumps are the same pump as far as I know. But it never hurts to have a spare if you can get that one you found.

That is ridiculously cheap for any MF injector pump, much less an LDS pump! Who did you have to f*** to get that deal?

Also nice when the truck won't run, or is otherwise disabled. A lot less fuss without the air cans.

You can tune it up some, but it will never run like it would with the right pump on it. At least with the old rebuild date you should have the old style camshaft. Someone will be along shortly to tell you that I'm wrong and that any of these pumps and motors can all make the same power... Just...

More difference than that. Different gov springs, different fuel metering, and different hydraulic head, which delivers more fuel per stroke. Without that pump you just have a normal engine. The LDS pump will have an Hd90101 head on it.

All you need is a 939 series truck to just rob all those parts off of and transplant to your truck. The 939s already have full air brakes and and air operated park brake.
