    2015 la rally swap/sell/trade

I am looking for 3 good 11r20 NDTs if anyone has any. Doesn't matter what rim they are mounted on. Unless someone has some G177s they want to part with REAL reasonable...

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

Don't need to govern it down at all. The LDS should be governed at 28-2900 or maybe 3200 even under no load. Can't remember specifically, but it is up there in the scary zone.

My mud truck build bad 395/85/20 tires?

Pull the top cover and have a look. That's the only way to tell. Whatever it is should be obvious. You know this kind of stuff is just going to keep happening until you either get fed up and sell it, or you quit thrashing it so hard, right?

    Red's deuce/camper project

Max of 18-20 psi for boost, and at 20 you will be right at the edge of head lifting.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

He has to get it over to me soon for a facelift so he can be sitting pretty at the LA rally.

Front axle seals and boots stepXstep

Check and see if your u-joint has cap seals or not. Some do not have seals for the caps and they DO still need a grease bath. If you install the outer seal on the front axle you will kick yourself for it later. It is a waste of a good seal where it isn't needed, and just adds more to deal with...

    Parking Brake Lining Thickness

Right, nothing more irritating than seeing a new thread titled " Question"...

Technical Assistance needed for non-starting Deuce (76 degreess outside)

What time did I leave there Zev? I got home at 2:05 AM. No traffic at all on the way back.

    Deuce load?

The brakes will stop it fine IF you aren't moving fast. The faster you go, the less they will work.

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

You need to straighten it out very well. It shouldn't bend after that, nor should it contact anything.

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

Yeah your dipstick is in the right spot already. It shouldn't hit anything going in. There isn't anything there to hit unless the oil pan wasn't flipped or the pickup tubes are somehow improperly installed. The engine wouldn't fit if the oil pan wasn't flipped so, I don't know what to tell you...

    Air Compressor Air Cleaner Element?

The filters are made of fiberglass. They can be cleaned with brake cleaner like everyone knows already, or you can drop them in an ultrasonic cleaner with a degreaser solution in it for a few minutes and it comes out just like new.

Glad it is all coming together.

    m35a2 advice needed

The deuce has a 10,000 pound winch (under rated). 5 tons are junk, buy the deuce.

    2015 LA steel soldiers rally

That's what I thought! Doug, I'll have your fuel tank adapter plate for you at the rally. Unless you need it sooner, I can send it to you.

    Lifted M35a2 6x6

Just do a body lift then. Simple and easy. Two full sticks of 2"x 4" rectangular tube should be enough.

LDS VS LDT and the real differences

Yeah putting it back together from where it is wouldn't be bad. You just need a new set of o-rings.

    New Halftrack project!

Do the tracks really wear that quickly on these things? There are a couple near me that have been sitting in the woods for 20 - 30 years that I can probably have if I just get them off the property, but I can't afford to own one if I can't afford to keep tracks on it.
