Ive got a M-54A2 sitting here and boy its a project and I still dont think I would trade but who knows what kind of hair up my butt I may get next. I sure do like the dodges.
I tried to search for the thread but to no avail so here I am posting. Who was it that installed new Torque rod ends and had one fail within a month of installation. It was said that there was a bad batch made. Who made them??? I need to purchase a few and I want to stay clear.
Yep, get a lowboy and have it moved. It looks to have been sitting for a long time and even towing it with a wrecker, if your not ready to work on it. It may have issues that will only be compounded by having the axles turning at the back. Your looking at 33,000 lbs as it sits, you will...
Its the quickest and easiest way!! Plenty of dealers in TX for those engines so no need to shop half way across the country. Come on over to the www.g838.org
We will be glad to help!!
No wonder you and I get along so well..............Were just crazy for that oddball stuff!!

Pressure plates...............115-120 Ft lbs

Definatly needs some work. Looks like the ignition and electrical got the 12V conversion. The body has the typical M-43 rot at the roof line. Fenders looks straight and whats nice to see is the usually missing folding rear step. 3K is a bit steep in my eyes for a M-43. Ive seen nicer...
I do have a trick that works for me and thought it was not KY, but similar. I have a prior trick that is just as important. Now I ran out of time last yr but John Bizal sent me some NOS and Repro Draft pads as a test. I told him that I would do a "How To" video for his web site as this...
Yes they both have the same cannister Assy. If you note on those trucks the air intake tube goes in towards the front of the side panel and then it will make the turn to the turbo inlet. The truck pictured here has a 800 series with it's intake tube going in towards the engine at the back...
