You explained it ,you went to reverse and then to second,it didn't select the forward sprag,it was still in reverse sprag mode when you started driving forward,ALWAYS start off in first gear in a sprag equipped truck. Basically the sprag was wound up and trying to turn the front wheels faster...

Yeah,between the 2 10 tonners minus the tire/wheels that's 48,000lbs of "cut steel" which is going at $8 per 100 lbs that makes these 2 worth $3840 in scrap right now. And that's not counting the 2 150 lb copper radiators I have for em as well,at $2 per lb that's another $600. Very tempting.....

Hmmm,rarest M44 series would have to be the M60 wrecker,price is whatever you are willing to pay. I would guess the rarest GMC deuce would have to be the M217 gasoline tanker or the M222 water tanker,I've never even seen one anywhere.
