That's funny. My truck weighs just shy of 18,000 with full tank of fuel and all my tools and stuff that stay in the truck. And it's just a standard cargo. I do keep a 100 gallon aux tank in the bed full at all times though.
Mine has no grease fittings installed. I'll be pulling my covers and installing fittings very soon. Just one of those things I know I need to do but haven't gotten around to yet.
That is not a bushing, it is a grease seal. Pump some grease in the fitting on that side until it comes out around that seal. You do not want to have to replace that seal if you don't have to.
I didn't mean to come off that mean looking back at my post. I feel bad about that. It's just that these things can be so dangerous without tip top brakes.
Inches would be better, but metric is useful as well. I will be bringing the drawin to a local CNC machining facility to get at least one made and see how it works.
They were never factory OR optional equipment for military use on the deuce. Installation can be done a bunch of different ways, pretty much do it as you see fit (safely).
You should have started your own thread or found a similar one on this subject. But you are new so I'll let it slide this time.
The first thing you should check is the fluid level in the master cylinder. It is under a small trap door in the floor in front of your driver seat. Has a vent line...
Right, the water condenses, freezes and drops out. I did notice the short spell of cold we had helped but wasn't cold enough to do the trick, but the heat sure worked! Never thought of the chamois and funnel. Pretty good idea!
Ive heard that they are all export versions of our tanks, but I'm sure that some of them are ours that just got left over there when we pulled out. So the answer is... Likely yes. They very well may have our best armor technology and weaponry technology in hand.
