Or just download a copy of the -10 operators TM for the series. It has weight and dimension data for almost every configuration.
TM 9 2320-280-10 It's downloadable all over the web: www.roscommonequipmentcenter.com/TM%209-2320-280-10.pdf
There is no electric fuel pump on an M998 vehicle, it's a mechanical pump driven by the camshaft off the right front of the engine. If someone wired this pump into the system I'd advise removing it and reinstalling an original. They're available for under $20 but they are a PITA to install...
These 3 items will allow you to go from the VSQ antenna to your car radio and all you'll have to do is plug them together. It couldn't be much easier than that. These are general links to what you need and none of it is mine or being sold by anyone I know just to adhere to the board rules.

The rule of thumb is 10 psi per 1K RPM. If your using Walmart oil in your vehicle your asking for trouble. Your far better off using a quality oil like Rotella or Delo 400 in your truck. Also, don't go cheap on your oil filters. Here's a link to the Hummer knowledge base with listings for...
When the LAU control boxes were being issued they had a separate cable that connected the control box to the glow plugs. The boxes themselves were crap but the cable that came with them could be used to make a totally independent glow plug system that would be an excellent option for a manual...
I've worked on converting vehicles to LED lighting for some time now and something strange that keeps popping up is the bulb in the turn signal switch is hot on the case and grounded on the tip of the bulb. This is irrelevant to an incandescent lamp but puts reverse power on an LED and they...
What was the failure mode? Were they working and just failed? There are lots of failure points, bad master light switch, burnt out bulbs, bad taillight ground.....It might be a good time to throw in a couple of 10-30 volt LEDs.
When TV was broadcast in analog format the standard VHF military radios would pick up the low band channels on 59.75 (2), 61.75 (3) and 71.75 (4). These were great frequencies to check your radios on. When the FCC went to digital transmitting that all want away.
I'm currently powering my 138 thru pins F & K on the front panel PA connector. All of those VIC-1 signals are in that connector and it shouldn't be hard to interface it thru there. Powering the 138 thru that connector also allows you to use the shorter mounts which make the 138 sit properly on...
jetman10, It's highly unusual for a U.S. military vehicle to have a positive ground system. If you were dealing with a foreign made or antique military vehicle maybe but anything in the M series should be negative ground. Slave cables and receptacles came into being with the M series and think...
If your just replacing the box the only thing you need to be aware of is that you have the correct matching temperature controller for your box. Otherwise they're form, fit and function interchangeable. Harnesses only get modified if your ungrading the alternator from the 60 amp basic to one of...
I couldn't agree with Tage more regarding the Technical Manuals. 90% of what you need to know and help with troubleshooting are in them. They're all available free online through many sources by doing a simple search will get you to them. The TM 9 2320-280-10 is the basic drivers handbook and...
