Get yourself a pitman arm puller and some good penetration oil like Kroil. Soak it well and don't be surprised if it's still a bear to break free. The last one I did I had the puller tightened up so far I thought I was going to break it and when I hit it with a hammer it came off sounding like...
Something else I haven't seen mentioned here that directly effects heating is the way the radiator and transmission cooler traps leaves and twigs between them. This restricts cooling flow thru the stack and causes the system to cycle more than necessary.
The number 21 is the designation for the running light signal, the letters are just the designations for the individual lamps that it connects to. You might want to pick up 21D on pin E of the trailer receptacle since it's right there.
Unless you have an ambulance your probably going to have...
GI Joe94, here's a link that should help you understand some of the mysticism that's military radios! LOL :D
I sent you a PM on the subject. Check your notifications above.

An RT-246 or 524 is 6 x 12 x 16 and weighs 62 pounds.
Buy a gutted unit and change it to what you want. At least it will look military.
You can download the manuals for the VRC-12 radios from the Radionerds forum and they will have nice line drawings of the radios you can work from. They'll...
My guess would be that your batteries are too low for the S3 box to operate. Make sure all your electrical connections are clean and tight and the batteries have a full charge and give it another try. If the truck starts and the voltmeter stays in the yellow your going to replace either the...
spoonsc1, the electronic master light switches do have their own gremlins that can cause all kinds of problems with the electrical system. If the switch in your truck doesn't have the ground lead securely connected they tend to self destruct in strange ways. If you don't have the supplemental...
Moderately priced radios in that region would be the RT-524 and the R-442. Both relatively available and there are plenty of knowledgeable people out there to help you with them. Accessories are in the same ballpark. This series of radios is known as the "new family" that replaced the old...
mweidhaas' comment is important because beyond mere pricing you need to figure out what you want to do with your radio and who you want to talk to. If you want to talk to other military vehicle owners then you should probably be looking for radios that operate in the VHF LO spectrum of 30-75...
You might want to repost this is a readable color. I tend to use the orange because it stands out so well. Just highlight your text and then click on the A in the menu bar. A drop down menu will come up that allows you to select a color for your text.
Mainsail, I couldn't agree with you more! 30 years ago I did just that with a couple of old Midland CB sets that I think I paid around $15 for but for some reason people all want a "military CB" of which there aren't any.
Radios like the PRC-104, 132, 138, GRC-193, 213, 215, and 220 will all operate in the 11 meter band, expensively. A cheaper option would be a PRC-8 or an RT-66.
Circuit breaker 2 interrupts power to the master start switch and will kill everything you've described. It's located on the backside of the dash panel.
If you highlight the number, right click it and then tell the system to "Search Google for 12514574" Everything comes back as reporting to a 6.5L engine.
You always need to be careful to use the proper TM for your truck. The TM numbers and publishing dates on the front cover may not change but...
