C&C Equipment had built a great looking M35A3 with a service body and I can't find pics of it anywhere now.

New Shoes and Hub too Tight

Doghead's method will work, I've used it before when I ran into your problem. Also, you can verify you are correct on the bottom adjustment by removing the access plate from the outside of the drum, rotating the drum down to the bottom of the shoe and watching the bottom of the shoe move in and...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Bought this deuce, the duals were dirty and I couldn't get them clean enough in the area between the inner and outer. So I pulled them all off and cleaned them This made me feel better, but I went ahead and serviced all the rear hubs. I guess they needed to be clean too.

Who makes a bearing packer big enough to handle M35A2 wheel bearings?

Debated whether to put this here or here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?8460-Front-axle-seals-and-boots-stepXstep&p=94509&viewfull=1#post94509 but since this thread is more specific, guess I'll put it here. With the sheer number of deuces I was doing, I got tired of doing...

    1953 M104A1 or M105A1

There are 2 styles of handbrake cables on the M105 family of trailers, to go with the two different handles. The M104 handles are turned around backwards, they face downward, so that when the front tailgate is lowered, it doesn't hit them handles. I have never seen an M104 in person, so I...

Wyoming to Georgia 4000 miles for a cargo bed

That's really nice, looks really good and I am kind of a purist so that's high praise. You guys work fast too. I'd still be unloading it.
Clever use of the tranny jacks.
One question: What is your plan for side racks / cargo cover? I suppose if you want them they'll have to be...

Putting a winch in the bed

I was going to say the same thing, but if he plans to pull something up into the bed, this method won't work. If this is a off-roading/recovery type winch, then do what firefox said and if you're really clever, you can add a fairlead to the rear of the bed (to the right of the trailer plug...

Pinky, my M1009, is down for the count

Sorry to see you go through that. Pinky looked to be in good shape before it got rammed. I would sue that idiot into oblivion. Stupid should be painful-and that's mighty stupid. Had you been in a Fiat 500 or something similarly sized, this may not be such a happy thread. Every time this...

Wyoming to Georgia 4000 miles for a cargo bed

Food poisoning? Sorry to hear that. "what is the hype?"-it's as big a part of the city as the Fox Theatre! The Varsity is a part of Atlanta culture. It's been here a long time, since 1928 or something like that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Varsity

    Windshield Frame Seal

The amount of work to do that wouldn't be worth it. Memphis used to make one piece windshields, with sealed glass. Don't know if they make them anymore.
