Switch in the coolant bypass known to be intermittent. Gets a lot of cycling over time. Some seen to have a lot of hysteresis, meaning more or less cycle time, off to on to off, coupled with how good your overall cooling system is working, outside temp. etc. Most important... First test...
While it's easy to talk about, when in come to doing it... that could turn in to a big headache for a shop that needs to move them in and move them out to make money. Can't tie up the bench, bay or pay employee's trying to fit it all together, hunt down this and that, set it up and stand behind...
Lead Poison on a Hummwv wheel and nine years old. Date code, Find the word DOT. Follow along to the last bubble ("week & year") in the picture this is (week 18 & year 2009) like new ??? with slight wobble, HAH. Didn't know they made weights that BIG either. TM lists you can order single...
And now the rest of the story. "Paul Harvey" How easy it is to go down the rabbit hole when learning the tire were not balance in the first place and the magic of the Centramatic are not matic or magic. There is a lot more mass in the rotten 37 inchers and bent rims, on all four comers going...
Not sure? Remove it and run out on the front or remove front and run the rear. One or the other could tell if it's a drive line / carrier bearing, extra wobble issues. A little bit of work could point to the problem. And maybe discover something else while crawling around under there...
Several wheel seals? As in more than one wheel or was it the studs or ??. Just for conversation... what tires and rims are you running and what is the age of the tires (date code) How's that K&N going?
I am sure someone has done it. Makes no sense / cents to me. Throttle modulation, take it easy, wheels the ground if you can and no sudden moves. Yes, it can happen a la SNAP BANG. Watch the Utuber busting them. Then don't do that. It's all I can do to keep air in the tires. If they ever...
Patients, SMALL hands, a good creeper, better friends and the wrench above. Shims, I got shims... Here's a picture of the ones I left out to get things lined up. Put back two - three thin ones as needed to meet MY camber / caster needs. Your results may very. Note to self: Thirty year old...
Just a heads-up on blowing up or out. The crappy tires on the units being released from the government. I would be real careful to the tires as to anything and everything, age, date code, sitting flat for years, rot and all the things that go wrong with tires. I have seen some unbelievable...
Not today but a year ago. Best kept secret under the hood. While not in the TM's... it could provide an insight to problems on or down the road.

Fuel pressure, Go, NO-GO, White smoke signals??? Here's what I did. Epay, Marshall oil filled gauge, 0-15 PSI on the cheap $15. Add 1/8 pipe elbow. Remove the (junk, who uses it any way) test sender on top of fuel filter. Add elbow, add gauge. Build out as shown in pictures. This may not...
Don't know what you have for rims. BUT if not the proper spacing with spindle to rim offset this could be an huge issue. Don't think AMG / Hummwv's were designed with a lot of wheel flexibility options. Check with Manny, Moe & Jack for what works.
Check the oil in the control module and be sure the vent is not plugged. If plugged a Q-tip works good. You didn't say but my guess would be you just finished painting it. Happens all the time.
Check to see if the Tie-rods end clamp is rotated wrong. It not pointing towards hub it can bind up on the rim and grind and sequel when rolling. I don't think it would stop your turning radius ???? Something to check. You rebuilt it ? Did you change idler arm?
Worth a try. May not have the hardness to provide cutting / clearing of the old same stuck material. What's worst is not having a plan B then C. Anti-seize and don't over torque. It just a glow plug. Never found one finger tight or leaking under compression.
