Welcome to the Outfit as a MV owner GoBigDTVN !
Nice looking truck - and like you said - for the price you paid, you did really well. The Air Force is a different breed. Might have been that your truck ended up out in the prairie hauling supplies to a silo or control facility.

That is some really nice carpentry work!
Best part is that you managed to cut all those pieces of wood - and created an empty bottle - and still have all ten!
.
Congratulations on the truck and Welcome to the Outfit!
Can't imagine how much fun it might have been to have a job working for S&S designing pieces and parts for the truck. I have seen several of your other posts and so I guess this is the "official" welcome to the group.
Hope you get to...

Maintenance Work Order
Fix the whatever that came out as instructions on paper and some parts. Things like anti-lock brake fixes and such. If the numbers on the tag are legible, you can search that number just like it was a TM and get the details.
Like the M936 had a MWO for the Automatic...

Is this a non-profit corporation? I haven't looked to see if the national is or not. Somehow, I would imagine that there are bylaws (especially if they are non-profit) and those and the minutes of meetings should be available to the membership. Not sure that somebody off the street can...

Interesting how that works. I spotted your post, then went back to look again and saw your new information. Glad to see that you had already started working on the MC rebuild. Sounds like you will be making steady progress and I offer good wishes for success!

Lookin Good! Paint Job in this picture appears to match pretty well too.
Price seems reasonable - and it is a lot better than a hole where the doors would be. Especially if it rains!

That's sad, but it makes sense. Logically I would imagine that the wheel cylinders will be next. Hopefully you can find a rebuild kit for them and the MC as well. A little bit of very fine grit emery cloth to polish any rough spots will be useful as well.
Seems good though. You found...

Since you are a New Member, we need to also tell you Welcome to the Outfit! The suggestion from @Guyfang is definitely a good idea - to get more exposure (eyeballs on the subject).
There is also a thread about one of our members that built sleeping quarters in a trailer like yours - and it...

Sad to say yes.
I have read many times in these forums that "a full bucket" isn't going to be lifted.
To be honest, I am not sure why or don't remember the details of why.
Glad you were able to lift the front end using the bucket.

Thinking about that... What about the addition of some sort of shock absorber. Only reason I ask is that having a dimwitted friend back in high school who took OFF the absorbers of his car. He would hit a bump, and the thing would bounce down the road for several minutes... A double bump...
Thinking about it... What about a spare coil? Do you have one or could you get your hands on a new one? Doesn't even have to fit in the holder well. Just to see if maybe yours is weak?
Quick search looks like a Ford or a Chevy coil can be had for about $25/$35 and shipping.

@Tinstar , I have to ask... You mentioned restoring the Craftsman vice on your trailer. Also mentioned that you had restored it to be outside permanently. I have a M1089 and part of the setup is a vice up between the tool boxes. I keep it spray with WD40 to keep the "screw" limber and...

Point Gap should be .020 as best I recollect.
A matchbook cover thickness works well.
While you have the cap off, turn it over and see if the contacts are good an clean. No white fuzzy stuff in there... And the rotor button should be clean too. Does the button in the center of the cap...
