Are the glad hands for working the brakes while towing? Hooking the back of the deuce air to the front of the M52 air to actuate the m52 brakes when the deuce brakes are applied. I thought I heard that the M52 was air over hydraulic not full air brakes.
I am considering trying to get an M52. Is there any way to tell from the outside if it is powered by the Mack or the LDS? I know the designation is supposed to tell but that info I do not have. Do they have the front air brake connections for towing like the 800 series and the 900 series? Is...
Next question. Does anyone know where to get the push to test style light fixtures to fab up a controller? If I have to I will just have a light with a push button right next to it but having the real thing would be nice. Also, is the start run switch a double throw with the start side being...
I have one cab style heater and I am still waiting on the right box heater for the bed. I did buy some connectors and used some parts from what Bjorn sent me. The cab heater has an easily accessible terminal strip to attach controller connections. The box heater requires a thermostat or a 5 watt...
Thats a Michigan manufactures plate. We see them all the time around here. It means that the truck is still owned by the manufacturer and is not owned by uncle same. It may be a test vehicle or it may be an example submitted for testing.
I have a multifuel heater for both the cab and for the cargo compartment. Where do I tap for a fuel line? I looked over the manuals and can't figure it out. I assume that taping the regular line is not right since the heaters have their own fuel pump. The manual looks like it taps a second hole...
I have never seen a deuce cover that was solid on the front like that. I would thing an M1008 cover or an M880 cover. It is not a deuce cover or an M105 cover.
I am sure this would boost stats. I think several other people go by direct link instead of clicking through SS. I would take the extra time if it helps support the site by giving advertisers an accurate count of hits from SS. Anything you can do on it is appreciated. I want to make sure I am...
You should set up a lemonade stand and ask $5 per question answered. Like Lucy in Charlie Brown. Just know that all the help you provide on the site and to the community as well comes back in book sales. I have many of your books on MV and wait with a credit card ready for any new ones to come out.
I wish I knew that. What does shipping run to my Dexter, MI 48130. I had heard there is a hazmat charge that drives the shipping up. I used to have a couple of cylinders from my Army days but they are long gone.
This has all brought up a good point. I usually just type in the url instead of clicking through. Some others have brought this up. I too will start clicking through instead of typing direct so that the stats work right. Is there anyway to start a list of advertiser's with click through links...
Napa just called back and they have them for $25 each. The part number for the correct cylinder with 7/8 thread and 18 ounce fill is 605-3253. They do not stock them but can get them next day.
I found a supplier for Ether canisters for the quick start system.
Michigan Cat headquarters in Novi has them for $30 a bottle in stock.

I have Napa in Ann Arbor checking but they could not find a part number as of this posting...
RE: Re: GL
I have went to your site before but never found what I was looking for. I would not have done so without the advertising. As I state above I always give first consideration to SS advertisers but if the prices are not competitive or what I want is not available then I must move on to...
