How crazy am I? Pulling an M105

A general caution note. Most states I no of require brakes on any trailer with a gross weight over 3500 lbs and this usually means any double axle trailers except the two axle aluminum atv or snowmobile trailers. You must also have a break away device. Just FYI. I am not flaming anyone just...

    New Advertiser

"WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Federal antitrust prosecutors charged the owner of a Dover, Delaware, parts company today with conspiring to rig bids on the purchase of $200,000 worth of military surplus material sold at government auctions in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area, the Department of Justice...

    Wrecker Light Bar

We used to have those for your M198 155mm howitzers. Instead we just tied chem lights on end of the tube. They would make a pretty good tow light bar.

    New Advertiser

I have no problem with the add. I barely notice it. I pay more attention to GL when I am surfing for the next purchase. The adds are not telling me anything I do not know. I also remember the days of driving on base to the DRMO auction. I used to take off from my unit to preview and bid on items...

RE: They do good I here Welcome to SS. Are you going to use the truck for just personal use or are you going to use it for any type of money making work? First for the DL issue. You should not need a CDL even if you are operating commercially. A commercial operator is anyone that uses the...

    rear tailgate window problems

A lot of times the side tracks are rusted out and the felt is gone. This causes a lot of the problems.

    Anybody have one for sale?

The heater I got looked the same but was not the model they had in the photos. They should have had a disclaimer about the picture not being the actual one I would get but at least they did not use pics of a brand new unit. They had several of them and did not know that they were different. I...

    Flex-Plate change.

I did mine without the long bolts. I had a trans jack adapter for my floor jack but I like the long bolt idea. I will have to try it sometime.

    Share a load GI?

I don't have a loading ramp but if we can get something going I could probably make a cheap one. I will have to see if I can win anything at Chambersburg. No matter what that sounds like a good deal. I will have to see if I can get something. There are several deuces but I am holding out for a...

    M1008A1 cargo cover installed

Do a search. I think there was a thread about the same things used on the deuce soft top.

    M36/M66 legs

The M36 legs I have seen can be adapted for use with the M66 pretty easily. I think the M36 legs have notches in the legs and the M66 legs do not. You may need to get the M-66 plates to use the M36 legs.

    Share a load GI?

What would half be for a deuce or five ton? I am near Ann Arbor.

    M818 GVWR

They are the same Dave. A pickup with a farm or log farm tag would is fine without a CDL. Even a deuce with a farm tag would be fine more than 150 miles from home but the once you cross 26001 lbs you must have a CDL if farther then 150 miles from home. Also if you are closer than 150 miles from...

    M818 GVWR

If you are driving a farm tag vehicle it is a given that you are engaged in a business as a farm and the truck is used for that. You can drive on a regular drive's license only 150 miles from your farm. Any more than that and you will be expected to have a CDL since you are engaged in commerce...
