I would not worry about it. If the trailer was rated to haul the load and the truck was rated to pull the load then it can look scary all day without being unsafe. I see he has his numbers on the side of the truck so he is obviously not an idiot with a truck. He at least follows some of the DOT...

Not alcohol. Ether for the cold start system. I have been told that Equipment dealers have them. Napa's can get them but the cost is high on just one or two bottles. Try to find a place with them in stock to avoid the shipping.

RE: Word to the wise for vehciles that have been sitting! FI I used Ivory bar soap in my travel trailer to keep the critters out. Not sure how or why it works but the bar of soap will keep them out of the interior. I never had any rodent problem in the travel trailer and it was stored outside...
