RE: Re: Help with uh-48 multifuel heater.
Next question is if anyone knows were the get the connectors for the power and thermostat. They are identical and are three pin but one is male and the other is female in a triangle arrangement. I went out to get photos and the plot thickens. Under the...
RE: Re: Help with uh-48 multifuel heater.
I just got done looking over the manual and I don't think I got that bad a deal. The only adjustment I see is for the fuel supply at the carb. This is the only place that deals with the type of fuel. I will check operation on gasoline then try to adjust...
RE: Re: Help with uh-48 multifuel heater.
The heater is a manufacured by hunter. It is manufactured as a multifuel heater and as I said the gasoline part is a sticker added on top of the word multifuel on the dataplate so this is a converted multifuel. I will check the pub number you gave Tom...
I got one on ebay. Instead of being the normal round type this one is in a box but it looks the same inside the box as some of the round ones. It is just encased in a box. The heater auction had pics of the heater and the data plates which clearly had it as a multifuel. The one I got was not the...
Nice. Hard top and winch and it looks like you have the non-wood headache rack. Some bows and canvas and you are all set. A little paint would not hurt.
Check out the parts cross reverence under the resources section to the left and down. Here is a link also. It gives part numbers for the belts.

I could not find the number. They are clearly marked as long as all of them are not fried. There are four of them if I remember correctly and they should be surface mount with 6 legs. LM57?? but I may be wrong on the partial number.
I will try to find the number. I may have posted it previously so I will do a search to find out. I originally found the number by looking at the top of the relay. Very small stuff and very difficult for a non electronics person to change out. I will get back to you.
I got one and it was not working. The relays inside were damaged. This seems to be the problem with most of them. For about $20 I got relays to replace all of them not just the one that looked damaged. It had the relays replaced and it has worked great ever since. That being said, my three lever...
Most are the tailgate steps. The correct one is hinged and has a pin to hold it in place when using it. The cable styles I only saw on HEMTT for stepping up into the cab.
If you find one you are lucky. Some have made their own. Do you want the GI correct stuff or good enough for hurricane stuff? Check for old posts on the subject and you might find enough information to make your own.
RE: List for picking up your Deuce I still need a little bit
Napa 3511 primary and 3512 . The cross reference section to the left and down under resources has other civy part numbers. You need one primary and two of the 3512 to change them all. Good luck.
It should be noted that some multifuel engines have had the FDC (fuel density compensator) bypassed. These can only run diesel or JP8 if I remember right. The mileage you get depends on the potential energy in the fuel by volume. Ethanol provides less energy potential then gasoline by volume. In...
I figured that might be the case. Thanks. I got a couple of PRC-25's and for you picture hounds, I will try to post some later this weekend. I checked them out today and they picked up Ch2 and Ch4 audio from inside my basement. Now I need to get them aligned and generally PMed. I had then number...
