    If you look in your frist pic, along the top you can see 5 sets of 4 bolt those are for mounting the top bow corner brakets. Then the cover goes over them.     Sorry but Omh's law state's Watt's / Volt's = Amps. So some thing running 24v will use half the amps as on 12v.

    The best and easyist way will be to make a set of temp lights. Like above, I think you can get some premade ones for 12volt and chang the plug and bulbs. I've done this in the past.

    Sorry but that is NOT the right cover for the truck. That looks to be for a 5 ton. It should only come down in the front about the same as the rear. About 10"-12" not all the way to the bed.
