BUMP
Many thanks to all those that bought shirts and caps pre-rally (mail order) and who bought them at the rally.
I have 14 hats and 26 shirts left.
The breakdown is:
12 each Large ash (long sleeve)
4 each large black
1 each small black
6 each small tan (short sleeve)

Let me add something to this older thread that I learned after dealing with GL Jacksonville, FL.
Some of the property sold on GL is located on remote and/or highly restricted areas.
The MK48's that sold a while back were on Blount Island near the Port of Jacksonville....if GL did not put you...
The SR-71 had cameras on it back in the 70's that could read the cards a guy was holding in an outdoor card game from waaaaaaaay up there.
Now they can do it from a satellite in low earth orbit.
You can run but you can't hide....especially if you have a newer cell phone on you.
There is one at Redstone that has a gooseneck hitch in the bed....they butchered the sides for some reason.
I'm not sure how much weight they would carry or how well they would handle with single wheels in back.
IMHO that engine is somewhat anemic but I guess it depends on how much you want...
Welcome to the Green Iron Lauging Accademy. :cookoo:
Having driven those wretched inventions of the devil while in the Army I can say that I'd rather have a sister in a cathouse than a brother in a CUCV but whatever floats your boat.
SS Member Doghead is the resident CUCV masochist here and...
I am a fair welder and have welded cast iron manifolds, there is a lot of prep work and if you do it right you still have to peen it until it cools or it will crack.
Would I reccommend it if you can easily get a replacement? No.
It should be easy to get a multi-fuel manifold.
You can drive the truck off the base. No one will check you for a tag or insurance. Since you just purchased it (and will have a copy of your Paid Invoice with you) a tag should not be a problem.
I have a Progressive Farm policy but you may not qualify if you don't have acreage. I would not...
Then I would make one more effort to reslove the issue with that inspector and if he won't budge demand your day in court.
Bear in mind that it will be on your nickle.
I love the 8.3 Cummins and the super singles on my M927.
My truck will run 65 at 2100 RPM but chugs along nicely at 1800 running around 55 MPH.
The 250 Cummins is a lot louder and I have to use hearing protection when I drive a 900 series with it in there.
I've never tried to use the CTIS...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
Start getting ready next year's GA Rally.
Elmo says "It's a hoot!!!!:wreckerman893::wreckerman893:
The wrecker is sitting in my Motor Pool.......I recovered it from Redstone for Roy.
It's grazing out in the back fourty with another wrecker and my M275.
