I have considered such a swap using a Dodge crew cab on a bobbed chasis. You have to admit that the deuce lacks a lot of creature comforts. It would be a lot easier and cheaper than fabbing a crew cab deuce.
Put air ride on the back and a gooseneck hitch and you would have a pretty nice...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
I was bidding on a couple of those trucks but quit early.
Teresa and her crew at Redstone are great to work with.
Your presence at the next GA Rally is required......do not resist....you will be assimilated.
Be there or be square.

Before I pass off this mortal coil I hope to make it "down under".
This is one of my favorite drinking songs performed by one of my favorite oldies groups.
BUMP
To those who have ordered I have been waiting to ship so I can only make one trip to the post office next week. If you have already PM'd me an order I'll have them in the mail by Tuesday. If you have not ordered please do so and I'll put you on the shipping list. The posted list of what I...
My M275 is a good little work hoss. I pulled two trailers back from Redstone with it. An electronics van and an expando.
It will run 60 all day long on flat ground.
Save it if you can.
The kingpin on a M915 is the same as civy. The ones on the M916/M920 are the big ones.
That is the one I sold to the guy that owns a big seed farm up the road from me.
He also owns the one I sold to AM General.
He let me use it to retrieve his tanker.
Yesterday Elmo and I made a trip to Redstone to pick up a 5000 gallon tanker I had bought for a customer.
I think it was brand new......there was a faint smell of diesel in the tank but all the TO&E equipment was still sealed in their container.
It was Elmo's first road trip since his...
If it weren't for the environmental whackos and their inbred fear of coal we could be making synthetic diesel and gasoline like the British and Germans did in two World Wars. There are trillions of tons of easy to get at coal in this country.
The stuff they burned in lanterns back in the day...
There are so many varibles that the best answer I can give is not necessicarily....it depends on what the prospective buyer wants them for.
A collector might be all over a pristine truck whereas a logger might be looking for one "in the rough" since he's going to work it like a rented mule...
Hello young Soldier from an old Soldier and welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.
Youu just missed the GA Rally....the premier Steel Soldier event in the country.
We had over 100 trucks and a ton of other equipment there.
Start making plans to attend next year's MV fest.
And watch...
I did some Googling.
Looks like they are more interested in selling stock right now.
Seems to be some process whereby CNG is used either to make synthetic fuel or is used in place of diesel.
Nothing new in using CNG in modified diesel engines.
It says it may sell for less than a buck a...
No hurry at all.....one of them is for Derek of TaylorTradingCo and the other is for me.
I have four brand 395's on A3 rims that I'm holding for a bobber project and this rim will give me a spare.
I have two deuce A3 rims (no tires) that need to get on Steel Soldiers Express from Winter Haven, Florida to Sand Rock, AL.
If anybody can snag them from Steve6x6x6 and deliver them I'll be happy to kick in fuel money.
PM me for contact numbers.
I used to drive an 87 Chevette........best theft deterrent in the world.
The only guy that was safer than me was one of my fellow soldiers that drove a Yugo.rofl
Sand Mountain is between me and Redstone.....it's a 160 mile round trip for me.
I'll be headed up that way Thursday to pick up a 5000 gallon tanker for a customer.
You may have to break out the "blue flame speed wrench" and beat it like a red headed stepchild to get it to move.......they tend to be stuck in position after many years of being exposed to the elements.
You will have to loosen the big nut also.....if you have a large metal bar to put through...
