A little rust gives it character! Heck, a squirt of paint would dress it up if you wanted to - but it isn't required. That is a heck of a truck though!!
.
Agreed! PVC pipe the right size works well and with the "heat and freeze" technique, the speedi sleeve almost requires no effort to seat the the sleeve - if you work fast.

Bad, but at least you found a good potential spot for the problem. Maybe it can be marked clearly, maybe even "pictured" really well or the ports "wired" with colored wire on both sides or even colored yarn will work. Then maybe remove the valve and hopefully clean it up. Could be that...

The January issue of Stars and Stripes had an article on x27 color night vision (super upgraded starlight technology).

I can't swear to it, but reading this (the linked page) it seems like a "crowd funded" project. It won't be out of development and into production until April of 2022. I was a part of a RPV helicopter deal like this and it fell on its face and everyone (most everyone?) lost their money...

Not really. It can, but then the truck has to build air again for the second lugnut or whatever. Best plan is a Milwaukee Fuel cordless.
DEFINITELY don't use it and expect that you will get consistent results torquing lugnuts onto the truck or you might find yourself "wheel-less" going down...

Hi Erik,
Welcome to the outfit and your new adventure in ownership of a big green truck! Seems to me that the guys have you headed off in the right direction. Be sure to download the TMs (Technical Manuals) for your "new to you" truck. Lots of troubleshooting information in those crusty...

Welcome to the outfit!
Sounds to me like this big green truck action is a family affair at your place. Between you and dad having three trucks - you already have one more truck than people to drive them
Yes sir... 3rd in line here asking for pictures too. Some of your truck and...

Smart Plan @Mainsail !
There are 4 rubber insulator pieces (if memory serves me).
Two on the bottom and two on the top of the tanks of the radiator...
.
Well, the good news is that your truck won't get lost in the parking lot.
I guess that is part of the magic of fixing old MV's.
You make it your own and paint it how you like it...
That really is a good looking truck! Seems that those last few pictures are the reward for getting all the hard word done - and a little relaxation time is definitely in order!
.
Not sure your age, but where I am now the AC makes me a lot less grumpy for sure! I know it takes more juice - and we could always cut down if things got really bad - but being cool... Well it almost is a requirement these days! :)

Suggest that you search and there is a guy here with parts available to solve your problems.
@Milcommoguy has done a lot of writing about the HMMWV and wiring and glowplugs and cleaning up the connections in the wiring harness.
