An EESS is not a PCB...
You have a PCB, the newer models are computerized. They are called EESS.
Temperature Control Unit (?) is the device that looks at engine temps to identify if glow plugs need to be activated.
An EESS works differently from a PCB, and does more internally. That is what...
If you buy a new box you should make sure it matches your glow plug sensor. You seem to have had a KDS Green, so you won't know what kind of sensor you had. A KDS green box does not use a glow plug sensor. You will therefor need to be safe and buy both.
BTW - What did you think was burnt out...
The devices that control the glow plugs and such are called EESS or PCB boxes, and are located under the dashboard and to the left of the steering wheel, over the driver's left knee. It is roughly behind the metal plate that holds the glow plug light and ignition lever. It has a label on it...
Nice, but I think I have you beat on price... I used Zipties. ;)
That being said, your idea is more secure and I will purchase one. I already have the light.
There are minor differences between the differing EESS and PCB's. Also ambient temperature and engine temperature may affect the answer.
Which do you have? Other members will better be able to advise with that information.
So, it seems the OP wants a turret.
What is the value of what he has and what is the cost of what he wants?
Maybe a site vendor can swap him for what he wants/needs?
EDIT - I don't mean to be rude but everything you say points to you wanting a civilian H1.
You need to sell what you have and buy a civilian H1 Alpha. That has everything you’re looking for and is road legal in California and will be cheaper in the long run after all the upgrades you want. A...
Be safe and I’m sure we all hope all turns out OK.
Might I suggest a large chain to the steering wheel?
I’m getting ready to pound a large pole into the ground that will attach to a lockable removable cement filled pole that will block my driveway to prevent theft. Just unlock and pull the...
Let’s remember our history...
Ford Motor Company suggested 20PSI for tires on its SUV’s many years ago. Tires exploded and the SUV’s rolled over and the SUV’s “A” beams were weak so plenty of people were killed and maimed. Lawsuits raged and the tire manufacturers said in court that the tires...
Pig9r, I want to go one step further.
Press a button and count to “10 Mississippi” and then let go and twist the starter lever. No automated timer device needed. Just a switch and a knowledge of how to count.
In my LandCruiser there is just a glow light that tells you your glowplugs are warm...
madeinusa...
You talk about hiding behind a keyboard? Besides cursing in a family friendly forum... Initially your signature line said Utah, then when confronted you changed it to Dallas.
You have been ignored.

You're a new member who only posts about this one product. You posted this same crap in Feb 27, 2020 with the same link, and again like 6 times. These have been your ONLY posts since joining. YOU are the seller trying to troll this forum and drum up business. I don't appreciate...
RWH is correct. This FleaPay Guy is charging 300 clams for a glowplug controller sold in Australia for 53 dollars AU( maybe$42 American). He then jacks up the price of the repair astronomically based on this. I would stay away from the FleaPay guy as he/she is behaving like a crook. (I would be...
If you're going to do what DREDnot suggests, you need reverse threaded drills. I would apply propane torch heat followed by penetrating oil, wait a few hours, then drill and spray the drillbit while drilling to keep it cool. Hot bits loose their tempering.
