it is just amazing how many people drive around with questionable or unsafe brakes and have never even checked or looked at any part of the system. what do you think is going to happen when your brakes fail unexpectedly and just when you really need them??
new never used, just dusty 1000 lb cap, cable drum rolls on square shaft for easy alignment. going on e-bay soon but you can have it now for $300 plus UPS
ganged panel is nos from a m-621, i think white owl in nc has them as well as axles. a indicator light comes on after the slider in the axle has moved to lock position.
i made my wheels the same way joe trapp did, but i used m-135 wheels since they have a 1" different offset. this gives it the same track as a m-35a3 and clears steering. if i did it again i would do 11" wide since flaps would fit better.
i made my wheels the same way joe did, but i used m-135 wheels since they have a 1" different offset. (see m-621 project) it is my experience that stock tires and wheels need to be 16 oz or more out of balance to need balanceing, i.e. if it is less than 16 oz out you will not notice it.

RE: Duece won
i think i remember enough to tell you that you need to remove the center plug from the fuel head and be sure the plunger is going up and down. you said you did this, but is it going down far enoughto pick up a charge of fuel? i think the shut off lever lifts the center plunger...
fuel rate
of course if you disable the fdc your fuel rate will go up and you will have more boost and higher egt. the fdc is after all an automatic fuel rate control. if you feel you have to disable the fdc you should 'start over' in checking and setting the fuel rate. the manual says to have...
