More on the video...............The collection of film was put together by another trans vet named Jim. Since most home movies at the time did not have sound. Jim put it to music of the time. He did a really GREAT job. I just watched it again the other day for my own personal enjoyment:-D
I had it translated also and somewhere I have it to what each word says.
This phrase was located on many locations on the truck. Doors, side of cargo boxes, gun boxes and tail gates. This phrase was not just gun truck specific.
the reason for this was that drivers and GT crews would get...
Brought mine home behind my cousins F-350 and it just was not right. Big little trailer for a big truck.
Loved towing it behind the deuce................my only complaint was backing it up. I had no bows on the trailer and with the tailgate up, you cant see it. I am sure that most of you...
I dont remember if this was mentioned. But if I had read this thread right. You also plan on taking the trailer off road???? What is the current hitch set up???? Are you using a standard 3/4t pintal hook??? I dont know if you have seen a pintal of a M35 or M54 but it is bigger. Not...

You should only hear it click now and again. If its rapid then something is wrong with the regulator. I had this happen with one of my deuces, changed it out and was back to normal. The cold could very well have something to do with it but in my case it was during the summer.
There are only a handful of vermonters on the SS site. There may be some NH guys that are a bit closer. What are you looking for as for help???? I am up in Burlington. Modivation lately to get to the weathervane in Lebanon has been pretty great so it might not take much to get me down...
Still not concerned as my replacement cab came from a late deuce and I am replacing most of the cables and wiring for the M54 install.
I will keep everyone posted on any issues that arise. I am going to try and get this done while the snow is on the ground. Hope the M37 does not get a bit...
Anyone ever take a cab from a deuce and put it on a 5 ton???? I am told and believe that they are the same. I would think and hope they are. Anyone parting out a 5 ton??? I might need a bracket or two in the next couple of months.
