If an A/C unit can survivei ox cart transport from a Chicom factory to ocean port, stuffing in a container, sea voyage (thru seastare ___) a to a US port, then a couple thousand mile truck/rail transport to a US warehouse where a union ape "unstuffs" the container to storeage. Then trucked to a...
Recently got a M925 for my small town. Will be removing the complete front bumper/winch and sell. Truck 2009 rebuild with 280mi on it. Looks like the winch has not been used since rebuild.
What price/value estimate for bumper/winch/control "stand"/controls. Hyd Pump/tank do not sell
Correct. Wear a new high quality filter mask (change filter cartridge repularily).
Or better yet a use a supplied air system/mask. As mentioned in the link above. Check with your local FD for an old SCBA. Lots of the old 2216psi units laying around that have little value as don't meet...
Stay on secondary roads. No weigh stations to worry about and you can poke along/stop as appropriate.
Likely you'll want to cross the big river at LaCrosse on I90. If you take US16 out of Sparta to On Alaska easy onto I90.
WI weigh stations...
Standard fire nozzle is designed for 100psi. An Akron Assault is available as a 50psi model. However low pressure hose is highly (negatively impact from) subject to kinking.
If you're worried, jack it up and see if the wheels turn freely. Or plan B pull it for a mile and check if hubs are hot. If OK, and you drive with a lick of sense, pull it home. Not rocket science.
Most Army trailers get little use (or maintenance). + or - depends on your point of view.
M0122 pulls great at 65mph on Interstate with a pickup (no container). No issues at all. Have not towed one extended with a box in the middle. I see no reason why towing performance would be worse with a longer wheel base.
backing a short WB full "trailer" with a crewcab piclup is a...
If 1-1/2" ggod bet that is NPSH (NPT = pipe) thread. Most mil 1-1/2" is NPSH other than some fire trucks which are NH (NST).
50ft head is only 21.7psi (water). So low pressure/low flow.

Got that right. I dont know if any smarter now but. mid/late 80s SOP at Ft Lewis was the convoy commanter (lead HMMWV) had a 45/9mm with 5rd and convoy NCOIC in trail had a M16 w/5rd. "Supposed to" have the ONE Mag in mag pouch not in the weapon. This was with multiple 5tons loaded with...
I was a Inf Bn Support PL at Ft Lewis (ID) in 1986-87. All the Infantry Bn in 9ID recieved new M923A1 and M927A1 in spring 86 (May 1886 as I recall). (Turned in 813s). This was dring the "High Tech Test Bed" time and 9ID was high priority for new equipment. Supposed to have been first large...
Very nise one should be coming thru Ft McCoy. Listed DRMO last month. I don't think was reused as had no engine. So a project but if as nice as represented likely worth undertaking on a 4K.
Received a IDOT form (Military Certificate of Compliance Form 411187) to self certify that vehicle meets Ia safety regs. Only issue I see is license plate light which will be easy and obvoius addition. Next stet ?
May have issue of year of mfg as only data plate is rebuild at Red River in...
Essential
Fire Ext DOES NOT mount 6" from a fuel tank/engine. Mount it far enough away that you can grab it when the obvious items are burning. One per engine/fuel tank. And a spare 20lb ABC.
Get a 2-1/2gal water can (the SS bullet) work GREAT for most fires (non hydrocarbon). Stop by your...
