It is not hard to remove/install the CTIS but be aware some of the internal parts are made of brittle Unobtanium and prone to breakage......that's why in the Army it was not drivers echelon to change the tires.....they had to be changed by a mechanic that was certified (had been sent to a class)...

Be aware that that 8.6 engine is notorious for the fuel shut off solinoid to de=energize and keep the truck from cranking......the little nipple looking thing sticking out of the solinoid housing should be pushed back up in there for it to crank. It is the black, round thing sitting at an angle...

The GA Rally is coming up in Oct. Good food (we set up a military kitchen trailer), good fun and plenty of MV's. It is the premier SS rally in the country.......be there or be square. A lot of the FL riff raff come up for it.......I'm sure they would let you tag along.
