The Dixie Divison Convoy from Mount Olive went off flawlessly this morning.
With the assistance of local law enforcement the convoy was escorted right into the Von Braun Civic Center.
There was a flurry of getting vehicles positioned and vendors to their places.

The deuces with turbos are not as loud as a straight pipe. In Alabama a turbo qualifies as a muffling device. When I built my bobber I split the exhaust into a duel stack set up and it quieted it down considerably.
I have a NA M275 tractor and I installed a better muffler on it than was on it...

When scrap is 14 bucks a hundred they do.
They were designed to carry two pallets of artillery shells or main gun tank rounds.
I have one in the back yard filled with HEMMT and deuce rims......they stack pretty good in it.
They are heavy and it takes a deuce or better to pull one safely.
An old friend of mine show me the trick of warming up metal to get paint to stick to it better......it opens the pores of the metal. You do not want it real hot....just warm enough to make the paint stick better.
