You laugh?!?!?
You LAUGH ! ! ! !
I wasn't concerned about it until you declared laughter. Are you laughing WITH me or AT me????
If I was really going "stand-up comedy" response I would have Posted my FIRST IMPULSE.......
If a "tailgate" is on the back, wouldn't the one up front be a...
After church and a birthday lunch today for our daughter, I enjoyed an unusually warm October afternoon, 95F, and changed all three fuel filters on our Deuce in preparation for the 2015 Toys-For-Tots season. Our first event for this year is just two weeks away, and others follow in rapid...

Here's a common sequence of events....

A product called SEAFOAM works well in eliminating ALGAE in Diesel fuel here in Texas.
It's available at Autozone, O'Reilly's, NAPA and other such stores.

http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=can+screwdriver+holder
As a cup holder, it won't hold a 44 oz mug of coffee..... but smaller bottles and cans will fit.
THAT is truly a ONE OF A KIND VEHICLE... and quite "purpose built." I APPLAUD your conceptualization and execution!!!
So, in a nutshell (pun intended), what you're tellin' us is that you really ARE "from the other side of the tracks", HUH????

Tow4:
I share your thoughts on the "almost" no wear to the Sprag since the only extra components spinning have no real load on them without the driveshaft installed. Reinstalling the driveshaft for a flat-tow would fully disengage the Sprag though resulting in the absolute minimum wear on the...

It's pretty much agreed that the statements are correct and our understanding of the system functionality is correct.
I sure have gotten an accelerated education on the SPRAG. It's a rather ingeniously designed "on demand" engagement mechanism. From this newfound knowledge I...
We pray for this driver, for you 98G, and for all who responded and will/are/did render aid. We pray that from this event and your sharing it that others will heed its safety message.
We are thankful that you (and your MV) are undamaged, at least in the physical state.
Thanks for sharing this...

- Is it to reduce EGTs?
- Is it to produce a deep and loud exhaust sound/noise?
- Is it for the visual effect?

Agreed.
If we flat tow I would also reinstall the front driveshaft so this should not be a problem.... unless.... there has already been damage done to the sprag and/or transfer case. <sigh>
Yes, Sir. I was about to PM you with that request. Looks like flat-towing is the best option indeed.
I will arrange a POC for drop off and PM that info to you asap.
Do you know your ETA at Midland?
Thanks.
John
It is the exhaust pipe that, as the name implies, is shaped like the letter J and runs from the engine compartment, into the right-hand wheel well (aft area under fender) and then bends UP to connect to the exhaust stack and/or muffler (is so equipped).
They are notorious for catching and...
