Does anyone have a source for the hardware to install these?
I assume these use square u-bolts to mount. The "U" portion goes under the frame and comes up through the bottom of the bed and through the bottom of the hoist leg?
I went to Fastenal today and priced the u-bolts: 1/2" shank, 22"...
5 gallons of water are a good thing to have in your deuce. If you spring a cooling system leak, 5 gallons may be just what you need to get to a point where you can correct the problem or at least gather more water for the trip home.
We had a big discussion about hoists awhile back, but we only covered the functionality, not the appearance.

The only military hoists I can think of that are like that are the 5 ton spare tire hoists in some cargo...

Yes. But you will have to add some wiring in order to run the additional lights an A3 bed has. My A3 bed has a small wiring harness that plugs into the standard rear harness.
