I have friends that have purchased M1009s on GL that DID NOT need an EUC. The truck came from Aberdeen. I am not sure how things get classified as needing one or not.

I have a long bed 5 ton cargo truck. Does anyone have any troop seats/side racks for this truck (M55, M814 or M927/M928)? I would prefer fiberglass, but any are acceptable. I would also prefer nice condition or new racks, but any condition racks will be considered. Thanks!

The truck looks very nice to me. My thought is, however, that the guy is asking too much. A $6,000 M35A2 should be turn-key, ready to drive home...not a truck that needs work. If the truck were turn-key, I'd say $6K was fair for a really clean winch truck with heater, hard top, new tires and...

I wonder why the Army did not go with the Oshkosh MTVR like the Marines did. That is a beast of a truck. I read on the Oshkosh website that they are proposing to rebuild the M939 series trucks for the Army with some newer upgrades.

RE: Re: RE: Deuce engines I wonder if the opinions expressed by GIMP and DOGHEAD are anecdotal, or is there something to this. I've owned many deuces with all of the motors and never noticed a difference between the manufacturers. However, I also don't put too many miles on my trucks.

The M880s are not very popular with the masses, but, those that have them, love them! I think $800 is cheap if it is straight and it will run.

You'd better figure on $10K plus for a reasonable looking truck. That is the auction price and none of the trucks that I've seen indicated that they ran. They probably did, but there is no guarantee. Figure that in when you bid.
