I use power service in my cucv's and tractors every time I fill up year around. With ulsd it needs lubrication all the time not just once every few tanks. Buy clean fuel, keep it clean, and add some form of proven lubrication additive!
C30 is a 2 wheel drive 1 ton, while a K30 is a 4 wheel drive 1 ton. Radiators should be the same. Look for a four core(4 rows of tubes running horizontal) radiator for increased cooling.
There is a check valve that screws into top of the injection pump. Make sure it is not restricted or stuck open. This is not the same as the electric solenoid.
I would not try to store bio diesel for ANY length of time as it will attract water into the tank or can. ULSD will last a long time but still needs some kind of lubricant or additive to protect the injection pump and injectors.
I would make sure the filter and fuel lines are staying fully primed and not sucking air somewhere. See if the check valve is working on top of the injection pump.
Is it possible that you have gotten some bad diesel, maybe with some water in it? If a new filter let it run a lot better for a few miles and the diesel is bad it may have clogged the filter again. I would fully check this out before I replaced the injection pump.
Try stopping on level ground transmission in neutral. Now kill the engine and shift transfer case firmly. Shifts without grinding this way in and out of low range. There is a grease zert on the shifter pivot on the 205 case also.
Sorry about your accident. I would like to recommend you get some UDDERLY SMOOTH body cream and keep it on your wound until it heals. It was developed for dairy cow udders but is safe for humans to use also. It is available at WALMART and some of the other big name pharmacies. It will keep you...
If you are not getting any reading of current at the ignition switch you have a failure somewhere between the 12 volt diamond on the firewall and the ignition switch. Fusible link or lost connection where you have already cleaned harness passing thru firewall or a break in the wire somewhere...
I would suspect the fusible link that feeds the ignition switch or the ignition switch itself. I am not talking about the keyed cylinder but the electrical contact ignition switch mounted underneath on the column. The wire that feeds this switch is located on the 12 volt diamond on the front of...
Hey, Is anyone going thru OK to Dexter, GA area. I am 30 miles N of I-40 in western OK. I could possibly take to OKC if needed. These are boxed really well in foam pack and weigh about 70#. I have more of these available to share the ride if anyone else is interested. Thanks
