A commercial truck shop will have the rack and fortitude to align it. Expect to pay for several hours of labor though...

What is your camber measuring now?
If all shims are removed you may be able to dial in more correction with later model control arm eccentrics from the usual HMMWV parts suppliers.

Check your fuel supply circuit.
My 802 developed a hard start condition below 50. Turned out to be the fuel water separator

Finished cleaning up the battery box and replacing the missing hold down bracket. The box had some minor corrosion which I neutralized and painted. The battery terminals needed some work to correct for over tightening, hammering etc.

I was very fortunate to get an 802 in good condition but it still needed work. I would not recommend this to anyone not mechanically inclined with time to burn.

Found a fired blank round while servicing the battery box. After a bit of cleaning may make a keychain for the 998.
Finished the keychain after firing the primer a few times. There was no powder in the case.

Check the HMMWV troubleshooting TM, it’s an excellent reference!
I had two issues, first several glow-plugs were marginal and replaced. Second, the cold start switch was dead which prohibited the injector pump cold start solenoid from functioning.
Cold starting is much better now

Replaced the cold start switch.
Note this is easily accessible on the right side rear cylinder head. I loosened the transmission dip stick mount in order to have full access with a box end wrench.

Additionsl info, following troubleshooting TM the box and glow plugs are working. The cold advance thermostatic switch is faulty. I’ve ordered a replacement so the cold advance IP solenoid can function.

It appears to be working. I understand the green label KDS box has a timer and will not re-warm plugs after the initial shot until the timer expires

I’ll be moving the genset about 30’ from the house which should mitigate the noise level and dissipate exhaust a tad more.
