    HMMWV mudflap close out plate

I just completed installation of the mud flap kit on my 998 with airlift rear bumper. The close out plates are damaged and frankly very flimsy. Price per unit is ~$60-$70 from our normal HMMWV parts suppliers. For what they are, that's ridiculous. These parts are injection molded but could...

Springs are snow plow ~1700lb/in. They are firm but just fine on road for my usage. Inexpensive is why I’m running them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Injector Pump - DB2 Rebuild

Old post acknowledged but good source of information on the DB2 pump. The pump is leaking from the throttle shaft on my 998 but is otherwise working to expectations. I'm debating replacing the shaft seals while on the vehicle since I have to R&R the intake manifold anyway (valve cover seal...

Engine Wiring Harness Mounting Bracket 12339343 M998 fit issues

That was exactly where I thought it should go. I gather the tolerances on this part are wide indeed. I had to take the die grinder to one bolt hole to give me enough clearance to engage the stud and start the bolt. The bend radius of the tabs is slightly off but they conformed to fit just fine...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I’m using the right stuff. I finished sealing it up yesterday. Hopefully it’s sealed well. The LT cover was clearly serviced in recent history with a cork gasket and it leaked. The RT cover is sealed with RTV and has no leaks. I’ll report back after test firing this weekend. Editorial, I’ve...
