The bushings on my 998 are loose. I get a good amount of deflection through the bushings while moving the suspension for and aft. I’ve been looking at the Energy Suspension bushings and I’m curious if anybody on the board has had positive experience using urethane bushings in the HMMWV.

PS pump has a 1/2” square slot for tensioning accessible from underneath the engine on the v belt setup. TM is pretty good for the process.

Stuck on how to remove throttle shaft. The transmission switch kickdown cam appears to be retained with a cross pin that will not easily persuaded out

I have the top cover off and need to R&R the shaft for seal replacement. Looks like the transmission kick down cam and accelerator cam need to come off first. I presume the cross pin (10) needs to be tapped out?

Removed intake manifold and valve cover in preparation for resealing vc, IP throttle shaft seals and a tad more fuel on the adjustment

Need an assist identifying this front spring. I could not locate this part number. Wire diameter is 0.925-0.930. I presume this is a 6005787 954#/in spring.
