Finished installing a block heater on the M998 6.2L.
Installation was relatively easy after draining the system and removing a freeze plug. The heater can bring the block temperature up nicely after 2-3 hours.

I have an M998 that is now equipped with a Plan B hard top. I'm curious if there are relatively easy ways to add structural reinforcement to the A-B pillars along the roof line similar to the tie-in that exists in a turret support which ties A-B-C structures. Seems like it would be relatively...

I'm looking to install a Frantz filter that I have languishing in the garage. Looking for suggestions on how to plumb the pressure feed and return feed.
For the pressure side I have been looking at installing a Tee in line between the oil pressure sender. However, I would prefer a dedicated...

I have a Frantz bypass filter in the garage waiting to be used and have been thinking of adding it to the 998. Curious if anyone is running a bypass filter and if so where you mounted it. Also, where did you plumb the filter return?

I'm looking for the part number for the small triangular shield in the lower left hand corner of this picture. I have not been able to locate this part in the relevant TM I have. Also, are there any additional heat shields on the crossover pipe for the M998 naturally aspirated applications...
Done. [emoji123]
Used the floor jack to bring starter up to the frame rail. Rotated starter up into position and hooked stud on to new style front bracket - very helpful [emoji106] Then juggled the rear bolts into position with the shim.
