I have not had luck, nor heard of anyone else, get a response back from Ibis Tek. You can find them on eBay (the 24" seem to be more readably available), but I bought mine from TedG on SteelSoldiers here. I've never seen the interior control box sold separately from the long 66" or 72" light...
That's an Ibis Tek light bar, made for the HMMWV. I put a 66" Ibis Tek light bar on my M35A2 (which had curved side brackets vs the straight ones pictured above):

Forum member 'red' put 395/85R20's on his M816 wrecker. It looks and handles the weight well.
Here's a few shortcuts to some of the relevant posts:

Hey welcome OLDCSM, from other person located in Utah.
As a side note, a Utah local here, Gunzy, has a HEMTT. Pretty sweet.

You know, I put expensive, long lasting, made for big rig diesels, orange coolant in my deuce and I regret it. Not because of the quality because surely it is excellent, but I don't think it was worth it. Also, regular green automotive antifreeze coolant is so much easier to find, and cheaper...
I think that's the definition of the small DC driven air compressors. Any/all of these listed are pretty pricey for at BEST and rounded up, less than 50% CFM increase over the stock deuce air compressor, which is ~7 CFM.
Thanks for the discussion. If I proceed anywhere, I'll follow up here.
You know what, good point for the CKM series. An actual intelligent inspection of the graph in that PDF shows that at the air pressure range a deuce would care about for the twin compressor CKMT Series
~3.75 CFM @ 60 PSI
~2.9 CFM @ 90 PSI
~2.6 CFM @ 120 PSI
I did want to post (not that I'm peddling ARB wares, but theirs did have some of the best spec's, and highest price) ARB does make 24V versions of the ones I linked above
ARB CKMA24 - (3.1 CFM @ 0 PSI, 50% duty cycle) - $270...
I've put air-assist steering on my M35A2 (besides partially wishing I had went actual power steering), performing low speed maneuvers in a parking lot, or while driving off road over rocks and ruts consumes a lot of air. Typically, this triggers the deuce's low air-pressure buzzer, which is the...
Here's the PDF of the TM 9-1005-245-13&P "Machine Gun Mounts and Combinations" dated 7 February 1973. Unfortunately you have to put up with the dumb "Survivalbooks.com" front page. I can remove that page but it loses all the handy internal document cross linking and the file goes from 8.9MB to...

Absolutely, more building space is definitely the proper answer for someone like me - ideally a garage attached to the house with a big roof overhang to put the trailer(s) under, but I'm at least 6-10 years away on that.
I haven't decided what big project I want to do this spring/summer. Though...
That's exactly how I feel. Though, when covered the original military cover is still seeing the snow weight, freezing, wind, abrasion and etc. So I tend to wonder, at little at least, if it wouldn't be worth to store the trailer without the cover, or even also the side racks, and bows - but it's...
So far, I've covered my M105A2 trailer in its entirety with a 20' x 20' poly tarp for not quite 3 years. I think a full 3 years is about all I'm going to get out of the tarp and bungees before they fail. The tarp and bungees cost me about $85. I wonder if leaving the trailer uncovered and just...
Thanks M813rc! Thanks for the good laugh too!
I appreciate the visual comparison as well.
Final question, are the aluminum and fiberglass poles interchangeable?

3-year old thread bump, but I was trying to determine which type of camouflage net I had "ULCANS" vs "LLWCS", and thus, which type of spreaders I should buy for this system (the "helicopter" battens or the round ones). So I hope this is will be of use to a future reader/searcher.
The transport...
I would change that when you do a search, the default search (via the top right corner of every page) would NOT search member's signatures. In the Advanced search there would be a selection "Also search signatures" that would default to NOT selected, but obviously this would give the user the...
