So I assume you have put a multimeter on the batteries, to confirm you have at least 24V present? Step two of that, is to have them load tested at an auto parts store. You might have surface voltage, but NO amperage when it comes time to crank (meaning the batteries are malfunctioning).
The 24V...
You didn't, I was the one who gummed up the works. Guy is referring to the step that I jumped, which would have been to recommend you start a parts wanted thread, in the appropriate forum (and as a newer user, you may not know this was the standard practice). I do know better.
You are both...
Going through a low hour, good condition 802 for an existing customer. This thing was on a trailer, way up and away from problems... Looks super clean and in awesome shape right?
Almost EVERY single time.... and you won't ever know unless you take the roof off and/or see sign near the air...
Just go with something made to work with the MEPs (and will readily fit into a 2" NPT fitting): https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/generator-aux-fuel-adapters-and-new-scepter-fuel-cans.217904/
The brass tube won't be long enough to get to the bottom of a 275g tank, but a length of oil proof...
The scan isn't that great. There are print manuals out there for sale. I don't think Honda made this machine very long, so its doubtful to find something readily scanned higher (since this is literally what Honda offers).
Does the machine produce power, then suddenly stop (while still running) or does it just not produce AC at startup sometimes, and you need to start it again to make it produce?
Here is the manual for this rare beast if you dont have it: https://cdn.powerequipment.honda.com/pe/pdf/manuals/31ZC6612.pdf
Is the AC switch on, or something that should otherwise be OFF at starting which would initiate a kill circuit for safety sake? I don't know if the two sensors you...
That is indeed the same part, looking back at the thread: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/mep-002a-003a-frequency-transducer-replacement.198094/
For those who missed out when they were dirt cheap... they are still pretty darn cheap over at Eastern Surplus (and they are a SS vendor, so its...
Well if containment and legal install is what you want, Roth tanks are an all in one option with excellent quality and are fully compliant (plus the 2" NPT tops easily allow for an MEP aux fuel adapter to be used). Standard sizes are 100g, 275g, and 400g...
Here is one source: https://tex-tanks.com/tanks/aboveground/belly-tank/ Can you not reuse the 114g tank for this?
The significantly cheaper method would be to just run 55g drums beside the machine, or tether it to a home heating oil tank. All scenarios (including belly tank) would require...
I think this is the magical question here. See the flow chart from the TM (black circle added):
If you didn't build sufficient oil pressure, you will get that light and the machine won't run. If you do build sufficient pressure but the MPU (magnetic pickup) is a little out of adjustment, it...
