Got some questions asked about the console. It is a Jotto Desk. Normally made for police vehicles. The radio is a PRC-138 and the screen is for the dash cam system, Watch Guard 4RE.
Barely had the time to even do this one lol. Plus you would need to find one first, that is a challenge alone.
One of my best friends bought a CUCVII that I found him out in Washington state. It's getting delivered this weekend.
Finished restoring the CUCV II yesterday. Took longer than I expected but I am very happy with the final product. Definitely keeping this in my collection. I wanted a military vehicle that I can drive on the interstate all day long, and this fits the bill perfectly.
Had a problem where the antenna mount I used off a CUCV I didn't have the proper angle on the body, due to the difference in body style from 1984-1999. I bought a CUCV I antenna mount from a friend and it had this special bracket on it that made it level. It is necessary if you want to use a...
I think I've messaged you on Facebook. There can only be one person out there with a HMMWV highback seat in a CUCV II, lol. Anyways, here are pictures of the interior seats of the CUCV II I sold to another member on here. They are the same as any other Tahoe/ Yukon seat from the 90's.
This...
Honestly, I had a problem seeing the dent on the vehicle. The part how the insurance company wanted to total the vehicle over that is hilarious. There's been great points in this thread to deal with their drama.
Discovered that the switch itself was not working properly. It is the same exact switch used on a CUCV I. Swapped it out with one in my parts bin and now it works.
I have a problem with my blackout drive light. It is in my CUCV II, but from everything I have seen in comparison to my other vehicles it is a very similar setup as a CUCV I.
In blackout lights "on" and b.o. drive "on", I am getting no voltage to the B.O. drive light. All the other b.o. side...
I jumped it as directed by the HANCO service rep and it did not solve the issue. They said that there could be an internal fault in the control board that is illuminating the warning light.
This unit is not similar to MEP units. No battle short and you can not flip the start switch to energize the unit.
Opened all the panels and checked all the connections. Nothing obviously wrong.
Called HANCO about it, I talked to a service representative. If the low fuel indicator is on, the...
Need help. Need to get back running because power is out. The generator was running fine and when I looked outside at the panel I saw 160 volts on each phase. Turned off the output and now it won't put out any voltage. The "LOW FUEL/STOPPED" warning light is on. The fuel is not low and is full...
Yes, the sun and ambient colors affects the paint. I used 383 green. Here's how dark it was last night. It is even darker in the shade in natural sunlight.
