a guy who is gonna screw with the fuel to increase boost really ought to buy a pyrometer, or if you don't care about EGT, buy a spare engine. Old age and experience are making me smarter all the while, heck, I caught up to my 22 year old son the other day. He's hot.
If you really can't break it loose, just take it to the shop and let them replace the whole line. They will get a kick out of working on a deuce and you'll have friends in all the right places. JT out
Hey, welcome to our site. Isn't Nacadoches home to Mckinney Drilling? I worked with them on the Aleyeska Pipeline in 74 and 75. Get your deuce local. Check with Dabtl on SS , he will steer you straight. JT out
Welcome to this bunch of OD addicts. We will educate you, entertain you, and piss you off from time to time, but it is THE place to be.
40 odd deuces and 5 tons and 2 midgets (CUCV ) There's nothing wrong with me, I love this stuff.
I have a real nice deuce non turbo that started to whistle a little as I would accelerate thru the gears. I found bad exhaust gaskets , replaced them and cured the whistle. Maybe change your fuel filters to cure the power problem. Napa 3511 and Napa 3512 or 3540. Or get my spin on adaptors JT out

If your block has "TD" cast in it ahead of engine nameplate, correct headbolt torque is 157 ft/lbs. No "TD" cast in block, correct headbolt torque is 130 ft/lbs.
Retorquing your headbolts may help, but, a real mechanic on this site or another tech site might be able to shed some light on how...
I'm sure even Cranetruck has accepted the correct answer from Dave P by now. I installed new master cylinder, air pack, and all rubber brake lines before Vinnie Schwartz with "The Untouchable" Gun Truck told me to check the vent in my right front glad hand on my M51A2 dump truck. Then Acetomato...
As a point of information, I got in today: 100 oil filter gasket #5119

Your mom lives in Ephrata? Pennsylvania or New York? I am in Ephratah New York. I also would trade you a good deuce for your good expansible van, second in line to Doghead though, He spoke up earlier. Is that collusive trading? JT out
Thank you Chris for presenting this to the membership. Our hobby is on "Thin Ice" with manycongressmen and senators in state and federal gov't. The only publicity we need is about diasaster aid like the MTA-NJ did a couple years ago for Katrina and earlier for 9/11. We can offer our assistance...
