Pic request - Singled 1200R20 with flipped hubs

They were like that when I bought it. It took me four months to get it running and then I sold it. Truck did great in the sand with the tires like that though. I would really like to buy it back but my wife would kill me. It needs a lot of work/parts from lights to mirrors and everything...

Pic request - Singled 1200R20 with flipped hubs

The hubs aren’t flipped but these are 12.00 x 20s singled on the original rims. The rears end up a little wider than the front and it gives the truck a nice stance.

Rear tire is hitting leaf spring on sharp turns

It may just be the camera angle but the upper one looks bent also. I would get the truck on a flat surface and realign everything and probably do the rest of the dogbones and possibly new u-bolts also.

Another stupid idea, ignore this thread.

I believe you still wouldn’t have any brakes due to the leak itself and the fact that itall one circuit. To truly fix this issue would be to isolate each axle so that if you had a leak you would still have 4 wheels with functional brakes. Of course even better would be 3 master cylinders...

My $40K wrecker (M936A1) refurbished at Memphis Equipment

$40000!!! Hope they gave you some vasoline first!!! That’s a crazy amount of money for a solid running truck much less one with this kind of problems. My friend just bought a 936 for $12000 and it just needed a little brake work. Hopefully they make it right for you.

    M925a2 running warm

I’d start out by changing the water pump and flushing everything again.

    M54A2 help needed

On a side note...since you are going to have the injector lines off anyway. Make sure and spray them out real good also.

    M54A2 help needed

It’s either the button under the hydraulic head came off or it’s the bow tie shaped washer on the quill on the hydraulic head. The washer gets wallowed out and doesn’t spin correctly. There is a video online that shows how to take everything apart.

Which wire on fuel pump plug is positive / ground

I’ve felt that tingle a couple of times. It’s somewhat unpleasant..

Which wire on fuel pump plug is positive / ground

Take off a marker light and see which wire lights it up. Homemade test light....

Which wire on fuel pump plug is positive / ground

Sorry...read that wrong and didn’t see you didn’t have the volt meter.

Which wire on fuel pump plug is positive / ground

Turn on the switch. One wire will read 24 volts. The other will read 0.

    Failsafe control module

That’s great news!! Mine has been possessed since day one. I tried a used take off and it got worse. Sometimes they don’t work sometimes they do and sometimes the alarm sounds the whole time I’m driving it. Hopefully a new one will fix it. You motivated me to go ahead and order one.

DodgeTX New 1962 Studebaker M35a2 Multifuel repair and build thread

I had a 62. Which engine does your truck have in it?

    Searching for U-Joints

Might as well change the carrier bearing while it’s apart if it’s the front u joints.

    Multifuel fuel filters

I wasn’t real sure. Mine was the old Continental 427. Some of the parts were a bit different especially on the injection pump.

    Multifuel fuel filters

It doesn’t have a data plate on the front of the passenger side of the motor?

    Multifuel fuel filters

I used the Baldwin filters and the o-rings fit perfect. That was on a continental.
