Well... as I move around the HMMWV.. gotta do the bushings.. I hate a sloppy suspension.. and I tearing it all apart anyway to paint.. so why not.. stupid, stupid, stupid.. Pressing out was a little easier than taking A arms off rig..
And as for the stubborn ones... BFCOW
WINNING !!!!!
Im guessing so you can start a bolt to hang the unit on and not be in the same predicament as the first design, holding it up in the air for 3 minutes trying to get a bolt started.. While trying not to smash your face with a 80lb chunk of starter..
Just to aggravate me forever... now I have 20 rattling rivet pieces inside my tailgate 😂😂
Guess I’m gonna need to open a small hole and shop vac em out...
hmmmm.... looked at it, and im confused.. no way are two wires gonna cut off fuel to my m998 6.5 that i cant do for $5.00 ...but for $15 bucks I mighta bit on that
Lol... I’ve been tinkering around for an anti theft switch Idea... Thanks....
I’m gonna run a keyed line off the neutral start switch.. brilliant.. key must be on for Neutral switch to make circuit.. key out, circuit broken.. this way I have a relatively low voltage keyed switch that won’t...
The best part was my fuel priming process..A little unorthodox.. I used a shop vac hooked up to my water/fuel separator bleeder valve.. 3 seconds and fuel made it to the filter.. 10 second crank... 10 second crank.. Fire .. Didn’t even have to open my injectors to bleed air 👊🏽👍🏼 Hey, it’s...
Well.. Finely got my rig in order.. Enough to fire it up on Memorial Day 🙌🏻 .... Sitting for 8 months on blocks , and who knows how long before that... V..vvvvroom ??
FWIW, it would give me great pleasure and an excuse to just do a spin on filter mod... If you just wanna get by for now you could surely cut a piece of some fuel proof material that only needs to support enough of the filter to keep
it toward the upper end of the canister.. Just my 2cents...
Here’s some photos of mine I had on the work bench.. My inside measurement from top to water separator shelf is like 4 3/4”.. And overall length is at 6 1/2”.. Hope these photos give you some info..

That looks odd... you can see where there was a shelf around the 2" mark on the ruler... I have my filter canister sitting out, Ill take a picture of it tomorrow. It looks like your missing about a 1 to 1 1/2" piece that sits in the bottom of the canister.. No bueno.....
