Just to let everyone know, Fort Bliss has now went to a pass required to enter post. All vehicles with trailers (including cars with trailers) are required to enter through Chaffee Gate. This includes anyone with a active ID card that has a cargo type vehicle like a U-Haul or is towing a...
You know, it rained here yesterday. We had some pretty powerful lightning also. I had to venture out in it to go to the store and fill up since the truck was almost empty. Meanwhile back at the bat cave batman was showing robin the intricacies of ..... Oh, ya, impounded vehicle.
Actually happens more than you think. It is a much bigger problem in the reserve side. The AMSA folks are notorious for taking equipment for service without telling the unit especially when you have multiple units in a motorpool. The equipment in ECS is at the mercy of the management. Some...
That was a special uparmored MRAP zip tie to be specific. LOL.
Glad it could come off. I was worried about zipping it up like that.
Always glad to see you.
Safe travels.
If it is too neat, it won't look real. Remember, it is the freshly achieved rank of E2 that was performing this task after duty hours or on a weekend. He achieved his rank the normal way, by getting an article 15 and being busted.
Let's not forget the quickest way to make E6 in Germany was...
On another MV site people were informed to contact me for their VIN INFO. I got a total of 7 emails or PM's within a week through this website, the other website and on my email.
Please stop referring people to me for VIN INFO especially since these folks don't feel the need to do a cursory...
This is a 4 year old thread. The M1061 doesn't have ramps (original). Military never had them for this trailer. You will also have to have ramps made or modified to fit. Also note that the 'holes' in those pieces of metal on the back of the trailer are actually lifting eyes and not mounting...
In a somewhat recent thread someone stated they'd been looking for the retainer for the CUCV M1009 spare tire.
I searched for the post, couldn't find it. If someone will point me in that direction/claim it.
If anyone wants anything thing else, they need to hurry. I'm heading to storage and then to drop it with Shotty. Won't be throwing stuff on his truck 5 minutes before departure tomorrow.
Same seats as in this thread

Won't ship the stuff. Pricing is based on me not having to hassle with packaging stuff up and getting it to the wonderful, friendly, uncrowded, nearby post office...

The parts manual for the a2 should have the hood andairassist in it. The hood is simple enough that the parts manual should give enough clarity I would think.
For the air assist use the m35a3 manual -24 and -24p. That is where I found the info in the manual. Each of the NOS retrofit parts kits I bought had one in it also. But since it appears you don't have an NOS kit, I would suggest the A3 manual.
