Finally had a helper to push the brake pedal for me. The pedal connects to the backside of the valve or further most forward part. The leak is directly in line with the pedal connection but furthest aft (closest to driver). There appears to be a large grommet/plastic piece? with a 90-degree...
The left button, "hwy" I think, blinks all the time. It never goes solid, and I never hear a solenoid from under the passenger dash activate. When I drive around 40mph or so, all 5 lights flash. pressing any of the buttons do nothing. After watching someone on YouTube have a similar issue, it...
Ronmar, I want to diagnose the pressure switch on the side of the wet tank (the $500 one) to see if that is my CTIS issue. If I unplug its wire and jumper the plug end, can I fool the CTIS into thinking the pressure is correct. My thoughts are If I Jumper'd 2 of the three wires and the CTIS...
px15 is a connector (Main Light Switch), not a wire. (TM 9-2320-366-34-1 (3 of 40)) K is wire 1404. I think 1 k6 wire goes to the light switch and one goes to a large connector on the bumper... Which is grounded? The light switch wire or bumper (j51) wire? Damn, i'm getting confused...
What a day. I replaced the trailer and park brake valves on the dash today. Uh... There is like no room in there! That had to be one of the most frustrating things I've done so far. Now that those two huge leaks are gone, I killed the engine, released the brakes and heard more hissing. Got out...
So the light issue was the relay. Replaced it and all good. Something interesting is I seem to have some 5 pin relays in a 4 pin socket..... So using a 5 in a 4 is ok but not a 4 in a 5?? I also started the changeover from breakers to spade fuses...
wow, great info. You are a good teacher! So, let's reassess:
1922 should be +24v as it comes from circuit breaker 43. 86 is always hot and is simply supplying +24v to 4 circuits at junction E3. TB2 is ground. So, I should be chasing 87/461T as to why it constant hot, right?! And if 85 is...
OK Here is the left taillight relay.
So if 85 and 86 complete the circuit, the electromagnet energizes and closes 87 sending power through it? So 3047 or 461B could be energizing it, right? I can't tell if there is a left blinker relay energizing this relay. The right turn signal works fine...
So my left rear turn signal isn't working. On a visual inspection I find an unplugged wire! Thinking it can't be that simple, I plug it in, and the light comes steady bright. note the turn signal isn't activated yet. This explains why the PO disconnected it I'm assuming. I printed out the...
So when I push the brake pedal halfway down while stopping, it hisses lots of air from under the dash/pedal area. If I brake hard and push it 3/4 of the way down the hiss goes away. Rebuild the brake valve??
