I have the hardware kit however the only sheet inside is the inventory of the kit and it tells you to source the instruction sheet. I don't see any pre drilled holes for the support brackets that mount on the rear of the B pillar.
Thank you
Approved in one business day after not buying anything for at least 10 years, I sent in paperwork on a Friday 8/16 and got approval Monday 8/19, perhaps the examiner just wanted to clear off the desk, SF97 took about 3 weeks.
The fill hose was the last piece I installed after replacing the tank. The secret is to use a heat gun and soften the hose first, then spray some silicone or use some soap on the inside of the hose then slide it onto the tank fill, same for the fill on the outside, heat and lube.
I have the cooling system apart for a water pump replacement and I noticed that the fan hub, the part that has the quick disconnect fitting, does not rotate freely, it turns about half a turn and then feels like it has hit a spring detent then will rotate again to another or the same detent, is...
I ordered a new pump from Midwest Military Equipment, removed the old pump, installed the new one on the bracket not paying much attention to an exact match. I installed the pump on the truck(6.5/V-belt)and I noticed the center soft line nipple was hitting on the cylinder head allowing no...
Update:, So I drained the fluid and dropped the pan, I figured a filter and fluid change might help, I did not expect or want to see a filter and pan covered in metal shaving and a few minor chunks of metal. The filter was literally clogged with metal, the magnets had so much metal on them they...
Update: After the bleeding process and I thought I needed(and ordered)a new pump, I ran it the next day and now it works normal, it must have had a stubborn air pocket that finally came out. I noticed I have a bleed nipple at the fan valve, I will try that as well if I ever need to bleed the...
Thank you for the replies, I printed the instructions and followed it to a T, no bubbles or foam and ended at" replace power steering pump", pump ordered and will report back.
Thank you
Thank you for the replies, I pulled the horn button and discovered the horn brush wire had pulled away from the horn button and was grounding to the column. I slid a piece of shrink tube over the connection, shrunk and re installed. I also sprayed some silicone spray in there to help prevent...
So I picked up my M1097R1 yesterday from Iron/Gov Planet yesterday, I am trying to figure out a few issues I am having. When I first started it to back off the trailer it went right into reverse, backed off, went right into drive and I moved it around the yard. Now it was getting up to...
So I picked up my M1097R1 yesterday from IP, I am now going through all the issues I have found so far. When I received it all the belts were missing, the long top PS bracket bolt was missing, the rest were loose as was the alternator mount bolts, quick disconnect at the fan hub was off. So I...
So I picked up my M1097R1 from IP yesterday, today I began trying to figure out all the faults, I am going to make an individual post for each issue. When I turn on the light switch the horn comes on and stays on, wondering if anyone else has had this happen ? I am going to test the horn...
I have been retired from the Army for many years and it's been a while since I have been around the HMMWV, just bought one at auction and while I'm waiting for the paperwork to clear I am trying to order the parts I need. As you can see from the picture all the belts are missing, the PS pump...
