Jon,
TM 9-2805-222-35P dated April 1962 (OA 331 parts manual) has the parts listing for the aux governor. Maybe 9-2805-222-35 has the overhaul procedure.

When I was stationed at Ft Polk and money was tight. All the CUCV's used by the "civilians on the battle field" were painted by the contract workers using what paint and colors available. they used brushes, mops, and brooms to paint the trucks. There were some wild colors when they had to mix...

Hey guys, Sorry for not being around. I've been away in Canada on training. I just been in long enough to check my PM's. I'll get with Chris and work out the exact spaces for everyone.
Chris,
Thanks for for the save.

If it's still in the same place since I was last there, before Katrina, it's off in the woods. It took me sometime to find it the first time I went there.
i believe the fuel heaters were designed to use in sub zero/arctic conditions. I had a deuce in Korea with a hot water heater that would set the toes on fire. The under dash duct was missing, and all the hot air went straight to the drivers legs. After 10 min, the driver's window was down to...

I have done the install on Uncle Sam's trucks before. If you can swap windshield frames, it'll save you a lot of measuring. drilling, and tapping bolt holes. The wiring is pretty straight forward.
I feel your pain. I had to escort a Soldier to Walter Reed for medical evaluation. That was the most two boring days of my life. The receptionist had me move across the waiting room away from them, seems my snoring was disrupting their work. I was told I could take a nap while I waited...
From what I gather, talk about air assist til the dogs come home, but don't talk about any auctions on GL.
To answer your question: air assist are stock on M35A3, an upgrade on anything before an A3.
If the wipers were installed right, you should be able to still fold the windows out. The trunnions at each end of the linkage should rotate enough to open the windows. I had posted the instillation and technical drawings for the electric wipers in the deuce forum
Did you stay at the motel or on Nike Court? The first time I went to Redstone, I missed my turn and was in NASA land lost. I would like to get stationed there, it's a nice area :D:D:D
The demil for M50 tanks is pretty easy as far as the chassis goes. The tracks get welded every 3rd to 4th link and the engine blocks get the blue tip wrench treatment to open them up for better ventilation. Heard this story from a MATES down in La. Seems TACOM let some M60's go to a few VFW's...
That is the one at Aberdeen, drive by it every morning going to work :) Last I read, the Ordnance Museum is starting the moving in 2 yrs and not everything is going to be moved. The M250 here is looking rough.
