dave, just watch swapping out certain parts in the ip pump. things like the plunger and guide are matched pieces. i have changed the guide out successfully one one pump and not another. i have waisted a couple days going through ip pumps on this last gen trying to change this and that with no...
i have gotten my bowtie washers for the ip and rubber mounts from gimpy. you can also get the washers right from ambach if he is out or maybe try jerry. the fuel lines can be tough. i dont even go near them with anything but a line wrench. once they are rounded over its almost impossible to get...
all the mep 00"X"a units that i am aware of have the exciter inside of the generator. the 004 and 005 are good units. i dont think how its listed is correct but i dont have one so im not 100% sure.

thread is 7/16-20

that looks right to me. you cant really buy better hose than that. the stuff is awesome. easy to make up as well without special tools. you put the hose in a vise with maybe 2" sticking up. warm the hose with a heat gun. put a little oil on the barb fitting and push it on. if its tight hit it...
the starter should not engage if the engine is running. there is an auto cutout switch behind a small cover over next to the oil filter. that will need some adjustment or looking into. your supposed to be able to turn the switch to start while its running so you can flash the field.
