I don't have experience with the A3, but If I were in your position I would be focused on the health of the motor, trans and braking system. The engine should idle smooth and without blow-by, with no apparent miss checked by the exhaust gas flow. The trans fluid should be clean and the...
I must be dense: You say Craig wrote you to hound you for rims Darrel left with you? I thought Craig and Darrel were the same person........:confused::confused:
If Craig and Darrel share the same body, but are of different personalities, are they different people?
Rick

I have my pics and part numbers. Thanks guys.
Rick
McKeeranger, the link didn't work for me, so I returned to the old site and uploaded the manual you suggested. It appears to be the "how to" manual, not the parts identification/NSN number manual.
I'm looking for a way to identify parts using the parts NSN for ordering repair parts. I...
Hey guys,
I was unable to help myself using search and picking through the library.
I would like the TM number for obtaining diagram photos with part numbers. I am working on a 1975 M817 wo/w, built by AM General.
I have downloaded both TM 9-2320-260-34-P-2 and TM 9-2320-260-24-P-2...
m16ty,
Have you contacted the gauge manufacturer? I know some manufacturers make the same gauges for 12 or 24v applications. Often it is a simple swapping of a controller unit and the illumination bulb and bingo, you have a 24v gauge.
Otherwise, I am a vote for the 24v relay installed to...
Thanks Dakota, I'll probably need to do the same type of engineering on both windows of my truck.
You said the window was cracked, and that's why you replaced it. With the missing clip, did the old broken window stay stable as it traveled in the track or did it cock and roll up out of kilter...
I know, huh? I feel like I am missing out! Shoot, my first truck ain't right yet and I'm looking for another.
Your truck looks perfect, son of Floridian! How bout a pic of the other side, with detail at the tank?
Rick
I understand your reasoning Chuck, it's the date of reconstruction, not the build date of the parts that decides production date.
Question: Was there ever a re manufacture of the M35A1 into the M35A2? Or something similar? If so, when was that and where can I read up on the program? I checked...
Boatcarpenter or anyone have a photo detailing the hole in the bench uprights that receives the securing pin?
And..... are the uprights on the drop side and regular benches the same material and dimension?
It appears that I too have regular benches in a drop side truck bed. I am not...
Many supply stores have weldable, pipe thread bungs to create the threaded opening you need. Make a hole in the drum where you want it, weld in the bung and thread in your valve. Here is an example of 1/2" and 3/4" bungs: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Female-Steel-Weld-Bung-Fittings,991.html...
In the past 2 years I have seen about a half dozen M35's auctioned in PR by GL, so if you want to avoid $2.5k shipping fees, you may want to look into that. May take awhile, but money saved is...... money saved.
Como esta Espanol de usted? you may have more "hits" using spanish, if you have not...
I just built a cable as well. The plug doesn't have many parts to lose: housing, back block, front block, 2 pins, a divider and 2 screws. What do you think you are missing?
A recent thread had a reply that mentioned Saturn Surplus as a source that sells the pins that solder onto the cable ends...
